It happened before with lost packages that eventually found their way to me way after I got my money back for them seemingly lost, but this feels a bit different.

All sorts of alarm bells are ringing for me, especially when you bring up the terms of the ebay protection. Sounds like a big scam of sorts.
A few questions I would want to know the answers to are: Does the ebay seller have a good rating? Was the address even close to your address (was it off by a number or just way off)? Does the address they wrote even exist? And more importantly, are you certain the items are authentic?
Oh, and I have a non-TF haul: SOC Dragonzord. Probably won't really get to play with it until this weekend.
Emerje wrote:Personally I would pay them simply because everything seemed to happen all at once and they showed an honest intent (however incompetent) to deliver. Part of the blame goes to UPS, they should have been able to look up your name, find a closely matching address and then asked you if you were the proper recipient. I've had drivers come to my house many times looking for directions or asking if I knew a person that might live near by, they could have found you if they tried harder. A missing number shouldn't make you impossible to find.

I randomly found the very first Pullip doll off Ebay.
Pullip Wind, DEBUT Edition!
For just 167$US shipped by EMS from Japan!![]()
To put things in perspective, that doll is the very first one of the Pullip line from 2003. The way the body is made, along the eye mechanism, how the hair is made, screws everywhere, weird proportions, basic make-up.... Pullips have come a long way since 2003. Consider this as a "G1" Pullip.
Anyway, Wind is the very first. Try looking for her on Ebay. I'll wait.
Zero results, right?
Now check out the SOLD listings. Still Zero.
And that's just the normal edition of Wind.
Wind normally just came by herself. But a very limited run came with a cool diecast bike, called Debut.
And that's the one I found! Ever since I started my Pullip collection, it was my grail. Something I never thought I'd come across. Especially at such a low, low price!![]()
Sure, it's used and the hair is a mess but who care. I GOT HER! Used and re-boxed. Normally, I trash all my boxes but this one, I carefully save.
The bike is fantastic and everything work. Even the brakes and pedals! All diecast too!
Unfortunately, it's too small for the doll so making such a pose is as stable as a house of cards.
Compared to modern Pullips, the first one is very... basic. But it's kinda unfair. It's like comparing G1 Optimus Prime to MP-10.
You may wonder why I'm freaking out so much over a silly doll, but just imagine landing on the very first run of the very first Diaclone Transformers. In box. For just a few bucks above 100$. Yeah, that's the feeling.![]()

I bet it's 17 AMERICAN dollars. What's the regular price in America? Bet the sale % isn't that much.
Don't forget that the 30$ above is in CANADIAN. Meaning 23$US. Still a différence, but not much condidering that most Canadian goods are more expensive because reasons. And when the regular price of the thing is 80$ Canadian, having 50$ off is indeed incredible.
Also, I hate to break it to you but if you have a collection of those big Marvel Legend figures, you have a DOLL collection too.
