At least with him, the 40$ of shipping will be justified. Seriously, it cost the same to ship a single deluxe as a titan for fox's sake.

Yeah, I'm a bit salty for having to pay over 80$CAN for the Centurion set.

I really don't think he is though. We have only had 2 Titans redecoed over the years, SDCC Devy and Takara's Grand Max. Grand didn't bomb per se, but his pre-orders did not even meet the second stretch goal so I would be shocked if they are not at least a little weary on gambling on a redeco of a Titan again.

If anyone was gonna do Black Zarak, it would be Takara Tomy eith Pulse carrying dtock for it, because the character was a Japan G1 original and the rest of us are only familiar with him second hand. And maybe they will do it, because he was significant to one of their shows, but if they don't I wouldnt be surprised.

I'd say though there is as good or a greater chance that Hasbro simply said "Well, who can we repaint Fasttrak into?" "Well, there's this gold army builder guy from Japan."

Regardless, Grand Maximus is a "nobody" while Black Zarak is a main villain. Also, TR Fortnax is a disappointing mold while the Scorponok mold is stellar. Plus, Roritchi.

Chances for a Select Black Zarak are pretty high I say.

I definitely would like to have a Black Zarak, most likely as a TT Selects, however the rest is opinion. Grand Max and Black Zarak are basically rivals. It's just that in the Masterforce Anime, they had to promote Ginrai as the Human hero, for "reasons". My favorite episodes of that series are 26 & 27, which is basically a tag-team match on the moon between Overlord/Black Zarak & God Ginrai/Grand Max. Grand Max was easily BZ's equal (since he was just Scorponok with a new body), it wasn't until he was possessed by Devil Z on Earth that he got ultra powerful and only Ginrai was able to defeat him.

I'm not going to debate the overall "whos more popular BZ or Grand Max" because it's pretty moot, but I'm just saying Grand Max isn't a "nobody" that's for sure ;).

If you want to talk about nobody's and wasted potential, Galaxy Shuttle comes to mind.

I'm still hoping we get that set. Maybe not as a titan, but maybe as individual Voyager releases sort of like SS Devastator or Piranacon, with maybe the Long Haul mold (can't remember which he was supposed to be) being a leader price point and he comes with the combined mode extras?. Although, if they ever release it, I hope it's the UW version where all the individual figures had their guns, as well as elbows and knees

I've got an interesting guess for the next two Selects figures to be revealed. What if we're getting more Turbomasters, like Rotorstorm? Boss from Earthrise Wheeljack? Flash from Earthrise Smokescreen or Bluestreak? I don't think either of those is too much of a stretch, especially given how many liberties with Rotorstorm's original G1 design have been taken by making him out of the Siege Spinister mold.

Scorch from Hoist/Trailbreaker would also work really well, but at the same time, I don't expect to see any more Turbomasters until Thunderclash shows up at some point, considering him and Rotorstorm are the only two Turbomasters that have any notable media usage and the others are more obscure than most of the Selects so far (although to be fair, Selects has ranged in obscurity from Smokescreen to a Seeker repaint who's existence is as convoluted as a Mortal Kombat ninja, so I guess no one's really off the table).

Right before the major Kingdom leaks started hitting this week, I believe I saw some of the credible TFW leakers were mentioning Spin-Out and Cordon floating around somewhere, so maybe one of them is one of the reveals? I highly doubt it would be both of them, two of the same mold back to back would be weird and unprecedented. Then again, those same leakers were disagreeing about how Ratchet and Lifeline were coming and I don't think any of them actually got it right, so who knows what's actually accurate anymore.

Greetings Seibertronians! Thanks to the detective efforts of fellow Seibertron user, -WonkoTheSane-, it's been brought to our attention that Takara Tomy have released a new in hand image of the imminent Transformers Generations Selects Super Megatron via their Twitter account!

Also through the images we get a nice view of the package thT Super Megatron will arrive in to those that have preordered him.

Here is a machine translation of the accompanying tweet:

Takara Tomy wrote:Additional Information! /
To be delivered at the end of next month
â– GENERATION SELECTS Super Megatron
We publish the final sample and package!
Those who have booked Please look forward to the next month!"

Super Megatron is a heavy retool of the Titans Returns Galvatron mold, able to transform from Super Megatron to Ultra Megatron, and again through the use of a different face, Ultra Megatron Omega (whose face is a homage to Megatron's appearance in the Transformers The Last Knight live action movie.

Have you preordered Super Megatron? Are you looking forward to his arrival? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

Given how it splits open, it's probably a lot lighter than it looks. Might weigh a tad bit more than TR Galvatron's cannon is my best bet.

Unless they have redone that particular pair of joints, don't count on it too much. The shoulder itself houses a soft ratchet, but the connection to the body is a simple mushroom peg on TR Galvatron:

If you mean RiD 2001 Megatron (who, officially, only had six modes; the other five were part of his Galvatron upgrade), he was originally the different-character Gigatron and was made Gigatron again in the IDW1 comics, so he's kind of in a gray area when it comes to counting him as a real Megatron.

Honestly, given how many different dimensional variants of RiD 2001 there are, he's probably a real Megatron in one of them.

To be really fair, the Omega forms are just variations of the base robot mode with a new face. :-?
