I like these, I'd say they're on par with what we've gotten from the rest of Prime Wars. They aren't MPs, we should have always expected beasts just as unarticulated as Alpha Trion. After what Hasbro did to Devastator this feels like an improvement. I do hope Takara Tomy repackages him for Unite Warriors being a Titan (like they did with Trypticon for Legends) and toss in some weapons (like they did for Devastator).

That was a product of the time. If they’re not doing it for any of the power of primes figure they’re not gonna do it for predaking. It’s not happening. If it shares the gimmick of enigmas and primemasters you can guarantee it’ll be in the same box and be the same toy. Just like how it’s been going and just like Trypticon was.

I try not to make negative posts, but seriously it’s been 34 years, you’d think they could make something other than bricks on sticks.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

I've been thinking about this, and I believe - but this is just me thinking as I've been looking at screen all day while on call with people in the US - that this might be the G1 a small lot of fandom has been asking for.. and the team has tipped too far into.
Meaning they effectively look the same as G1, just with maybe a couple more joints? I liked the general look of Devastator more, that also did a similar thing, but this just feels.. eh.

Apparently G1 Predaking was too fat for modern day Hasbro body shaming developers.

I think he looks fun, and I look forward to having him.

I obviously don't want to knock it for people who will most definitely enjoy him, just confirming my lack of interest in a potential interesting (to me) figure!

Lore Keeper wrote:The Predaking on the show floor seems to be mistransformed. The legs of his arm components are fully extended, whereas they are retracted on the CGI render and box art. It would explain why his arms look so off and why his hands reach all the way down to his knees.
