Rodimus Prime wrote:Most cereal boxes are flimsy. They would still get crushed if most things heavier than other cereal boxes get stacked on them. Those who are genuinely serious when they complain about that grinds my gears. Not only the nitrogen is a conservative, it also prevent the chips to be utterly CRUSHED inside the bag. A simple fact too many people ignore or just can't think about.
What about cereal in a box? By coincidence I just opened a new box this morning. We usually pour the contents into hard plastic containers that keep it fresh, but no joke, the bag was half empty.

Galvatron may be my least favorite of the group, but it's not that I don't like it, I just like the others even more! The transformation is pretty cool, and the bot mode sculpt and proportions are very nicely done!
Sideways pulls off the design extremely well, I love how the arms work in bot mode with the spikes that stick out of the arms and the hands coming out of the tires, even with the buzzsaw blades in the tires! Alt mode is a pretty good recreation of an Audi without being licensed, and the gun from the Wii game is a great callback!
I will admit that I am strongly Bumblebiased, but DOTM Bumblebee is my favorite of the bunch! It's my favorite look for Bumblebee, and the amount of retooling they did is actually really impressive! The SS-49 mold was excellent as-is, but all the little changes for the DOTM model really elevate this figure!
Now bring on the next wave! Very excited to get them all in-hand and painted up!

Or maybe they don't know? It wasn't THAT long ago I learned about nitrogen in the bags.
I was today years old when I learnt it.
The nitrogen thing, maybe. But the "air" itself functioning as "padding" to prevent the chips from becoming a fine paste should be obvious.

The packaging of cereal and potato chips isn't misleading. The mass of the food inside the container is the part that's actually relevant to the person eating the food, not the volume, and the consumer can discern the mass from reading the label or simply picking up the package.
Heavy plastic 'toy surprises' or excessive iron could skew that, but the size of the bag/box not as much.

It's like Steve Rogers before and after he became Captain America.

Kryten on Red Dwarf said it best - 'The first bite is with the eye.' An air-inflated bag will convey an impression that there's more in the bag than there actually is, regardless of what the net weight says in that little line at the bottom. But I already admitted: "most chip bags also have another disclaimer that usually reads, 'Sold by weight, not volume'.

LinaNui wrote:This guy is so awesome. I am so happy to have him now. The only things I could see improving on would be another joint to better curl the hands and a double joint in the spear so you could bend it like in the movie. Overall a 10/10 figure. Easily my top figure of 2022.

Supposedly it's for weapons that will come with the Bee version.-Kanrabat- wrote:I can understand the molding hole behind the head and on the inner limbs.
But what's up with those huge holes on the car's hood? Those makes absolutely no sense.
