EvasionModeBumblebee wrote:Preordered Que and AOE Prime!
They released some videos and AOE Prime looks even better than the pics yesterday! You can fold down the kibble flap behind his head in robot mode. The shield does open, but not quite in the way I thought it did - it opens to reveal the gun barrel, which is super cool!
The listings also say he includes an unmasked head, which we haven’t seen yet.
Uhh...Rtron wrote:Nice! I wish more movie Primes had the unmasked head, I think this is the first instance so far in Studio Series.

Oh neat. I don't think it was mentioned in the video either.EvasionModeBumblebee wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Uhh...Rtron wrote:Nice! I wish more movie Primes had the unmasked head, I think this is the first instance so far in Studio Series.
The listings for him say he includes an additional unmasked head sculpt. I’m a little skeptical since we didn’t see it in the video, but at the very least it would seem they have the sculpt to use on a Nemesis Prime version or something!

Don't miss the Transformers Product Showcase video dropping tomorrow on Hasbro Pulse's YouTube channel at 1:00pm ET! Nate and Evan dive deep into what makes these figures must-haves for any collector.
For those wondering, there is nothing new about the rereleased figures aside from the box. They are simply a chance for new collectors/fans to get older releases.
Worth noting that the description only explicitly mentions one sword, this may be a case of something that was planned but cut making it to the description like Earthrise Sky Lynx's Micromaster and the alt head was scrapped in favor of the second sword.Sabrblade wrote:Oh neat. The alleged alt head is also conspicuously absent from all the pics in his Pulse listing, including the back of the box.

Sabrblade wrote:It was also pointed out in the video that this AOE Optimus is specifically AOE Optimus pre-forearms-upgrade, as he appears in most of that movie from the time he first scans his new altmode to right before he pulls out the sword and his arms change. But despite that, they still wanted to include the sword as an accessory anyway.
Theoretically, this would give them a reason to do a retool of this mold with his arms altered to match the upgrade he gets in the movie, which could be sold as a TLK Optimus since I think he still had that same arm upgrade in that movie.
Bizarrely, it wasn't a livestream event. Yesterday's Instagram announcements said it would go live today at 1pm, and I was waiting and looking around Hasbro Pulse's YouTube channel both right before and right at 1pm, and the video wasn't anywhere to be found until a few minutes after 1pm, where it was uploaded as a normal pre-recording instead.EvasionModeBumblebee wrote:I didn't get to watch the video when it premiered

I didn't know Armada Wheeljack was a Studio Series toy.TF-fan kev777 wrote:On a similar note, I've gotten my third email like that for Armada Wheeljack today. All 3 emails said expected ship date of Jan 3rd, and I received one in December, one on Jan 3rd and one today.
Something definitely screwy with their automated emails.
