I did but not at the price I wanted. I bought him full price to do the pictorial review and kept my walmart receipt. Now that I got him at a much better price, I can bring it back unopened to walmart with the receipt Its how I usually do things to experience the toys as quickly as possible without making my family go hungry.

Clever. I paid £19 including delivery and got him earlier than most folks and given how much I've played with him since he was definitely worth my money and I would have been happy paying the full £23 or so but yes any savings are always good for any item.

Yup, he`s awesome (but with a few faults). Will be posting a pictorial review later today.

I wanted to like that Bludgeon but he just seems a bit too blocky, weirdly coloured, kinda random looking and the alt-mode doesn't look great. I'm very happy with my RotF Bludgeon with headrobots upgrade but I guess that one's fine if you're into the RID style that I'm not. I'd probably only get if I get urge to collect all Bludgeons.

I'm not the biggest RID fan, but I do like Bludgeon's face -- not so much the alt mode

Received Chaos on Velocitron. Again, I paid $99 from Amazon.com, and Amazon was the seller, not a 3p. Interestingly, the box has a TRU sticker on it. Go figure.

In any case, won't get to open it until tomorrow. Will likely ebay everything but Hot Rod and Fastlane. Undecided on Prime.

A very modest haul, RID Bludgeon. Paid full 20$CAN plus taxes unfortunately but eh...



The plastic feel very cheap and the head barely hold in place on the little "dot-pegs". I forgive it because it's a obvious safety measure. The tank is weird and fun, and I can forgive the obvious arms that stick out because they are SUPPOSED to go that way and it's a fantasy tank anyway. Overall, RID Bludgeon is flawed as hell but I forgive him. Because he's cool. And Bludgeon.

All are 100% complete.

To complete the quatuor of Classic Pretender, I now have Jazz and Grimlock. As expected, Jazz is total garbage but I can't help but love it. As for Grimlock, he's AWESOME! I'll talk a bit more about them in the Pretender thread.

No new hauls today from you guys?

Well, allow me to continue my G1 quest!

I went to my local geek store today and I unloaded a HUGE quantity of random transformers. Most were not worth mentioning but I did gave Alternity Optimus and Megatron, and Beast Wars Big Convoy as the TFs with the most value. I also gave the Revoltech Queen's Blade Ymir and Noah, having lost interest in those. It was still two HEAVY bags of random Transformers for the most part.

Anyway, those toys given gave me over 400$CAN in store credits so I finally got back the last lost Transformers from my childhood, G1 Defensor!

And because I love the Combiner Wars version so much, I also got G1 Computron.

And I just had to add an extra 40$ in cash to get an unplanned and unexpected G1 Transformers, Doublecross A.K.A Twinferno!

Everything in perfect shape and 100% complete of course! I'm happy as child on Xmass day!



Man, if I could slap the little brat I was when I got rid of Defensor... I hated G1 Scramble City combiner because the latest I had were the Seacons reissue and RiD Ruination. Both felt incredibly cheap, like some KOs.

But Defensor is the real deal, with diecast parts and everthing. It's solid and I think he hold up even today. And by the way, the Transformers of My childhood were all G1. Optimus Prime, Defensor, and Apeface. That's it. Now I got back all of them. YESSSS!



Computron was a "why not" purchase. I planned instead to get G1 Dreadwing & Darkwing, but those Powermasters have their gimmicks so flawed from the get-go that they were a pain to fiddle with. Also, breakage risks everywhere. So, nope.

So, how is Computron? MARVELOUS! Stattershot is worth the price of admission by himself! The thing is BIG, even in vehicle mode. So big in fact, why bother combining? Also, the transformation of all the bots gave me some serious surprises in how clever they were designed.

No regrets at all.



And finally, the unexpected find, Doublecross.
Because my TR Triggerhappy came with two right "sled guns", making combining them impossible, I complained to Hasbro. A few hoops jumped through later and I got in the mail a random TR Twinferno. I found that figure to be ugly, stupid, and derpy. I even thought of getting rid of it. Still, I kept it in the end just for the novelty.

Having some cash left in store credit, I found the original, G1 Doublecross and even though the TR is trash in dragon mode, the G1 look FANTASTIC! Plus, his stickers were perfect and even the sparks gimmick still work.

Having played with it I can confirm that unlike G1 Chromedome and G1 Highbrow, G1 Doublecross is clearly the superior toy compared to TR Twinferno.

Sweet Primus what a nightmare of a week.... but I got some toys!
Mailman brought me MPM Bee, a new Munkee, a gun and clip for Jetfire (almost complete!), and Xenoverse Trunks.



TLK TRU Exclusive Optimus Prime Mission to Cybertron.... $70 CAD? Barf. But 50 bucks after a delicious coupon? Mmmmmmmmmmmmyes please! ALSO! BOTW Zelda Amiibo reissue?? Thank god! I did NOT want to succumb aftermarket prices. Not only that, it was the only one on the pegs, and the girl said she'd only put them out like 15 minutes earlier



And, from a lovely local gent, a super crazy deal on a Hasby MP-1. One more to go! (Black Gun)

Got these in the mail Wednesday from the first hour of Prime Day Monday. I had a bunch of stuff in my cart, but it was selling out at the special price faster than I could checkout. In the end this is all I was able to get away with.

A Leader and a Legend for a grand total of $18.99 shipped. No idea what that broke down to per figure since the invoice just says what was saved, not how it broke down per figure. Can't say I was impressed by the packaging. The box was well taped, but there was no packing material of any kind and a lot of empty space.

Also got the Covenant of Primus for $33. I forgot it made sounds, it's pretty loud. Unlike the other box, this one was well packed, but they only used a single strip of tape to close the top of the box and it seemed like it was failing against the weight of the book and an even heavier monitor desk mount that was in the box as well. I understand they probably had a few million orders to mail out this week, but being busy isn't an excuse for crappy packing jobs.

Really? I think the jet mode is equally as fantastic as the robot mode. Great shape, details, even the feet don't bother me as much as I thought they might. Looks very cool on a flight stand (again I love that Hasbro have been putting those lil ports into a large amount of TF figures in recent years)

The Deception Pretender quest continues....

Awesome haul. I went through a phase of Pretender collecting about ten years ago I think it was. Had almost all of the first bunch UK released (Bomb-burst, Cloudburst, Landmine, Waverider, Skullgrin and Submarauder), Stranglehold of the smaller ones, Starscream, Grimlock and Bumblebee of the Classics, and Carnivac, Chainclaw and Catilla of the beasts. I don't have them now except for a (what was then a spare) Carnivac inner robot I keep cos he's one of my all time characters (hence why i pixelled him as my avatar and influenced my username).

I do remember at the time I had the Carnivac shell & robot it took me ages to source the gun and shoulder pads.

I am totally hunting the Cons, piecemeal, since 100% complete off the internet means that the pricing varies wildly. The accessories are the more difficult to obtain, no doubt.

I don't like owning too many things. I start to feel overwhelmed and like the place is far too cluttered. It's stupid but yeah I just tend to hang on to my absolute faves. Also at the time I was selling them on I had some financial crap happen (not cos i was buying Transformers ) and had to shift the lot, which included a lot of Classics, various 2007 Movie toys (only my deluxe Arcee and custom painted concept camaro Bee remain of that bunch), classics (only 2006 Optimus Prime remains cos it was a christmas present) and various other figures, some original G1, a few scattered figures of Unicron Trilogy like that Armada Prime with the transforming trailer, and Superlink Sprung.. Lots and lots had to go.

My latest G1 madness did the job perfectly with all that I unloaded in Store credit.

12 pretenders, 2 headmasters, 2 scramble city combiners, and ALL the actionmasters minus two. So much garbage/outdated/lost-interest Transformers that I got rid off in trade. Lemme tell you, I cleared lot of space. The irony is the new vintage stuff do take a lot of space on their own. No matter, at least THOSE are even more worth it.

Be very careful with the games, bro. Be sure to only sell those you do NOT love, because you'll regret it bitterly in the end.
Also, only sell games to individuals, NEVER games stores. To have more than 2$ per games.

By the way, I did trade many video games I didn't cared about with people for transformers and Power Rangers Megazords. Well worth it via classified adds.
