It appears that MP-12 Lambor/Sideswipe and MP-13 Soundwave purchased through Amazon Japan will come with exclusive accessories. MP-12 Lambor/Sideswipe will come with a set of alternate chrome pile drivers and MP-13 Soundwave will come will energon cubes. The Amazon Japan pre-order can be found at the following links:

Such a sucker from chromed accessories... if Amazon japan ships internationally, excuse the ignorance, I would definitely consider this.

FUUUU! Takara screwed us out of more accessories too. Amazon Japan only ships within Japan. :-(

Not necessarily, I was able to get the Amazon.jp exclusive ROTF Leader Black Optimus Prime shipped to me directly by Amazon.jp. But I think that's because is was listed as a DVD/BluRay that came with a toy.

Once I see finalized versions of the cubes, I'm going to just make my own, or get my crafty friends to make them for me.

Cool, but I hate exclusives. I'm sure some 3rd party will knock them off soon enough. The existing Energon cubes look better anyway. Honestly, these look like acrylic storage/display boxes. You could probably find some in the right color and call them Energon cubes. In fact, perhaps that's what I'll do.

The best Energon Cube accessories, IMHO, are the Unicron.com Energy Cubes, and those can have the option of either being clear "empty" cubes or filled cubes.

It does not bother me that they are not standard.

To be fair we got something Japan didn't with Hot Rod, and MP Prime 2.0 is going to have all of his accessories intact. I think there's a fair chance Hasbro will include the bonus accessories.

While you're right about Hot Rod, what we didn;t get was THE OTHER HALF OF WINNEBEGO PRIME. It's not like Optimus who can run around bob-tailed and get away with it,(I think I just hered a geewuner choke and die when I said that) Rodimus Prime without his trailer is Hot Rod driving arount backwards. Sure,t he Targetmaster is great if all you wanted is Hot Rod, and if I'd seen him I'd have probably been happy with that, but the other half of the figure is largely useless.

lulz, Grimlock... though they did get King Grimlock later on.

As for Rodimus' lack of trailer, of course we missed out big-time, but my main point is that it's possible we'll get bonus accessories, because it's happened before.
