BBTS Lists New Stealth Force Vehicle: BIG HOSS

Hmm...interesting. Looks cool, though.

Let the crazy speculation begin as to whether this is a new bot in DOTM, an upcoming expanded Bayniverse character with no media appearances, someone from TF Prime, a nonsentient vehicle designed to combat TFs, or just a one-off toy for a character we'll never see in robot mode, created solely because kids who frequent the Hot-Wheels aisle devoted to boring cars that don't DO anything just love them bigfoot trucks!

However it is, we all know his one weakness... standard garden shears. five imaginary dollars to whoever gets the reference.

I vote for none of the above. My guess is somewhere along the way Hasbro lost the license to the name Big Daddy within the last two years. Wanting to still evoke the macho majesty of such a classic name (yes, I'm snickering as well, people), some executive who watched too much "Bonanza" as a child stepped in to save the day.

i just realized that the reason bays got the 2 stunticons/bots with all the guns and stuff is to push this line

I steered clear (no pun intended) of MASK cos I thought it was a TF rip-off. I'm steering clear of Stealth Force cos I think it's a MASK rip-off. And cos it's lame.

Actually those Nascar gunner bots are autobots, and more specifically the WRECKERS!!!!

these things are hardcore shelf warmers.

I like the ones based on the movie characters but I think they're far too expensive. I do feel compelled to press the buttons on them all when I'm in Toys R Us though even (or maybe because) it annoyed a particular staff member there.

Does the existence of this toy imply that there is going to be a similar transforming (Deluxe?) figure? Hasn't every other Stealth Force vehicle been based on an existing transforming figure?

Isnt "Big Hoss" the nickname of the fat guy in history channel's "Pawn Stars" ???

These toys are actually really fun. I own a few of them and my 1 1/2 year old son and I play with them a lot!

Not all have other toy representations that do robot modes.

Well, nothing says "Stealth" like a monster truck, right?

Hey, he's stealthier than Megatron at least.

The Stealthforce line always seems like Hasbro is missing the point. No Robot = Not a Transformer. I don't care if weapons pop out of a car, lots of toy lines and cartoons do that.

I kind of like the Soundwave one, but that's just because I'm a freak for Transformers Animated.

As lame as I too find this line, and as much as I want to agree with you...my favorite TF of all time is Slamdance, a gestalt composed of two Autobots who only had cassette and vehicle modes. They were indeed Transformers. Guns 'n stuff popping out doesn't really count as a transformation to a different vehicle, so it's not quite the same thing, but I just feel compelled to stick up for those two.

Like I said, I don't want to negate your point. Defending Stealth Force hurts almost as bad as admitting the good points of Beast Machines, and-waitaminute! Transforming from one vehicle to almost the same vehicle...the Stealth Force isn't M.A.S.K.; these things are descendants of the friggin' Beast Riders! The plague of the organic-core is still upon us! Scuttle the line! Burn it! Send it to Hell! Let Matchbox keep their stupid shelfspace! Sweet Primus, I can hear the Animorphs sniffing around my back door! Cover me Jhiaxus...

I actually wish there was new M.A.S.K. I'd quite like some new toys of that series with today's tech. That's part of the reason I love the Human Alliance figures cos with those I can have a lil person to put in the drivers seat like the old M.A.S.K. stuff. I'd be quite happy with a new version of Matt Trakker's car still being able to have a lil figure in it but with this stealth force kind of motorised transformation stuff. Hasbro did release a GI Joe figure of Trakker recently so wondering if they own all the rights now and could potentially release a few new proper M.A.S.K. toys.
