Don Murphy has read the first draft of the Transformers script and has the following 5 things to say:

1) Some of the Transformers show in prehistoric times, while others come later.
2) Optimus will be a long nosed Truck *EDIT* Don has since confirmed that he got confused when answering - he meant that Optimus will be a flat nosed truck (ala G1).
3)It's shorter than 2 hours
4)Soundwave is in it with a non-size shifting mode
5) No Dinobots
