Generations Dirge Variant / Ongoing Change

HA! I never even noticed mine had incorrect symbols. nice

Last week I bought a Dirge for a trade, but it has since then fell through. I have the incorrect symbol version. PM if interested. Otherwise I'm returning it to the store. thanks.

I've got the same thing missing on mine. Funny as heck too since I thought something was off on the wings the whole time but couldn't place it. LOL

lolz mines still in package and the incorrect symbol is only on one of the wings.

I bought an extra Digre myself for safe keepings. Will this increase the value ???

OMG, I never noticed mine had an incorrect faction symbol. It is the same on chest too, haha. Man, I am not too observant.

I doubt the messed up ones will be worth any more...if anything, I'd think the corrected version would be more desirable. I know I have the first run version and I'd rather have the updated one. Whether it's a big enough deal to spend another $10 on something so minor that I previously didn't even notice is the question?

Looks like the money train is gonna be rollin' into the station! Soon I will be eating caviar from endangered fish and wearing pants made of gold, never wearing the same pair more than 15 minutes at a time. My pool will be filled w/ water from only the most virgin water sources, obviously changed before every dive. On top of that I will have top scientists and engineers build me my own woking, sentient Optimus Primeand Megatron and hold nightly battles for my own amusement. Damn life is gonna be SWEET! Yes sir! Oooooh! Is it wrong that I have a variant with both? His left wing has the correct symbol, his right has the incorrect, and his chest has the incorrect symbol as well. I post pics when I can get to an actual computer.

LOL, I have the chest fubar symbol too. go figure. Now I'm going to be looking for the one that is hybrid and look right. The wife is going to kill me for sure now.

I didn't even see the differences in the pic til you guys mentioned it. I was like "Okay, 2 Dirges. What's the dif? They look the same to me.", then I saw the first's symbol, then I was like "Ooooh, OK, I see it now!". Go figure.

Not worth the headache. Just get a faction label sheet from Reprolabels and call it a day. Interesting find though.

I saw the correct version at the store today. Passed for now.

I'm just happy mine has all the same (incorrect) symbol instead of a mishmash. I can live with it. I would never have noticed unless it was pointed out anyway.

Mine's got all three symbols without the white spot.

It also has a missing paint app on the edge of the right boobie/landing gear, so it's blue instead of black on that side. Oh well, not the end of the world.

I have both. They were bought within a week of each other too. I guess the 5.1 revision has the correction.

Returned mine to target. No one's gonna want it anyway. I bet H did it on purpose just for kicks.

Picked one up today as I was doing the last of my Christmas shopping. My gift to myself and it was the last Dirge in any of the stores in the area. Forgot all about the mislabel until I saw the thread listed in "Hottest Headlines" and then it occurred to me to check my new purchase. I've got an incorrect version and am actually kinda thrilled that I did. It's not going to make any difference in value but I just like the "novelty" factor even though it's destined to be a long forgotten, obscure little detail in less than 6 months, if even that long.

got 1 wrong 1 may get a right one just to have both versions

Looks like I've got the incorrect one. But it's all consistent, so I don't really mind all that much.

I have the incorrect one opened and displayed proudly, I never even realized it was an error to be honest.
