Looking for a gift to give the Transformers fan who collects everything?

Carlton Cars, a division of American Greetings, is marketing a new Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen themed ornament this season, featuring Optimus Prime and Megatron, locked in combat. The ornament features a sound clip from the movie.

Online retailer Long Island Treasures has the ornament up for preorder for $24.99. No ship date has been announced yet. Brick and mortar stores like Kohl's also tend to carry Carlton ornaments.

Seibertron.com does not advocate face-ripping as an acceptable gift.

Hmmmm, $25 isn't too bad in comparison with the cost of most of these high end ornaments, I'll wait until I see it in person, but I may buy this.

"Give someone your face"?

I don't get it. Is there like some inside joke I'm missing?

It's a reference to how often OP tears/cut/stabs through someone's face in the Bay movies.

Prime has a tendency in the movies to remove robot's faces. He's decapitated, defaced, or shot in the face:

Bonecrusher
Grindor
The Fallen
Scavenger
Megatron

And he even shouted "Give me your face!" when ripping Grindor's head in half.

Uh, 2 things. One, that was Demolisher he killed, and two, he said "Give me your face" to The Fallen, not Grindor. But, more to the point, why does Megatron look so much bigger than Optimus?

I think you will find that should be Carlton Cards. ;)

I certainly hope this isn't the case, as I've been picking these up. That said the amount of pieces they are showing for the 2010 line seems quite small, So it is possible that more pieces are yet to be released.

Okay, yeah, but I'm still calling this a poor headline. Image

I think they were trying to go for a 3-D type of effect where if you look at it at the right angle, it's like he's reaching out and getting closer. (If that makes any sense, lol.)
