Quartz over at Transformers At the Moon has reported that Amazon Japan has updated their listing for Takara-Tomy's 2010 Reissue Predaking with high resolution images.

Was there a question if he had metal parts? Because it looks like there's metal on most of them.
I wasn't sure if I'd get one of these, but I think I'll go for it. He looks fantastic.

Real shame about Razorclaw's head. Maybe if I get this reissue I'll find a junker and swap out the head.

i'm still pretty torn on this.

One the one hand, the new gold plastic flows better with his gold decals. Stick out a bit less than the G1 yellow.

On the other, the yellow (albeit maybe not as bright as the toy) is what is shown in all the cartoon and comics. Also there isn't the gold plastic issue to worry about.

I suppose either will do, and as I already own the Previous reissue, I suppose I should pass on this.

Its like a dream come true! and for those people who like to "nick pick" about this, just be happy its being re-re-release again and so those who missed out can capture its beauty one more time!! For myself i could care less about razorclaws' head, and beside i have the G1 one anyway.

Also this gold color look alot better than the Crayola sunshine yellow they used.

The gold itself isn't so bad, it's the fact that he lost the red faceplate. That's one of the orginal's most striking features, IMO.

And yeah, how many times do we need to tell people there will not be GPS? It's come up in every single thread so far. GPS hasn't been an issue in years, it's the wrong shade of gold, and furthermore, this is painted gold. Who knows what the underlying parts will be, but it's pretty certain it will not suffer from GPS.

There are actually higher resolution images on Amazon.co.jp than the ones you've got. They have 1200x1200 res ones but you need to piece them together which is what my brother Quartz did this morning for our site. If you go to the Amazon site and click the images, then zoom in you'll be able to see them. Its worth piecing them together though.

If you go to the TFwiki page then you will see an explanation of GPS and why it is not an issue now. Toys with GPS like the G2 Aerialbot Slingshot have little shiny specks in the gold which is apprently the main cause og GPS. These Predacons are a solid shade of Gold paint.

Comforting thing is that Gold Plastic falls apart quite easily over time and then becomes worthless. And that this Predaking is not made of that kind

This glossy/metallic 2010 Predaking looks very interesting. I actually like it. I may get them regardless with die cast or not. If the box has a window, then I'll definitely be getting them. That would mean, I will have 3 sets of Predaking (2004 loose/ display, 2004 AFA 85 MISB, and 2010 glossy MISB).

If I have to choose between the original color and this 2010 glossy/metallic Predaking set, I'll pick the original color. It's more ease to the eyes. These glossy Predaking colors are too bright for the eyes, it's like it's screaming at you, ehehe.

Damn the gold looks so mice nicer than the old yellow IMO. I'm glad I have this preordered already.

I hadn't noticed the change to Razorclaw's face before. Maybe I'll give his faceplate a lick of red paint. We shall see.

I have one question about crazydevy predaking parts for our new and improved, plus shiny Predaking, will he parts be shiny like our new Prekaking or will they be like the orginal Predaking? The reason im asking is because i would hate to get CD parts and they'll dull and dont look right with the new shiny Predaking, any help would be great..

Depends on the parts. The wings should be shiny. The head should be orange and black, so no gold, shininess there, well no yellow to change to gold anyway that I remember.

LOOKS AWESOME.....but wil it be in diecast or all plastic??? I contacted 3 toy dealers and no one really knows for sure yet.
