TFormers.com has an interview with Takara´s Executive Vice President, Nobuyuki Okude, who is often called "The Man Who Invented Transformers". This article is from a series called "Robots Station 2002: Men Who Make Robot Toys" originally published in June´s Hobby Japan magagzine. NOTE: While reading this interesting article, keep in mind that the Transformers concept (as in Autobots, Decepticons, Cybertron, etc) was created by Hasbro. It was the transforming robot to car concept that Takara created.
