First Post!

I'm glad the last pic shows them as all one color. Looks better than two in Grey.

Definetly on my list.

I need to ask why you're saying "Click on the thumbnails to see larger images" when there aren't any links to click, just the thumbnails?

I'm looking forward to this set. I'll get'em; I'd just rather have the Seacons.

It isn't just you, I made sure to check both Safari and Firefox before posting that one.

That's exactly what it is.

yup that's exactly what it is:

SHIT

it's the type of shit you see when you take a shit after drinking coffee.
or
better still
it's the shit you see during the ritual good morning shit.

c'mon people this figure is hidious

was disgusting in energon
and it's disgusting now.

Does this mean that Hasbro is running out of ideas for the Classics line?
Re: New Images of Transformers Classics Devastator (3436)
Posted by Flux Convoy on January 28th, 2007 @ 1:46am CST
I don't see what the problem is with this guy. This is what I wanted from these molds in Energon. I'll be very happy to add to my Classics.

You know who I hope comes out in the Classics line? DEVASTATOR. If I wanted this I'd go to some store's clearance aisle and pick 'em up for about a dollar each.

I don't get it. I'm still waiting for the pics of devastator. All I've seen is some shittastic energon mold, that offends baby Jesus.

Ditto. I am actually really excited about this release. Sure I want 5 seperate molds for the figure, but the 3 we got for it wernt actually that bad IMO.

Okay, so who gets what mold is what I want to know....

Honestly? I'd rather the Target Exclusive Build Team repaints have been the Classics Constructicons if they were going to go this route, at least they were four different molds instead of one torso mold and two limb molds repeated twice each....
Re: New Images of Transformers Classics Devastator (3537)
Posted by Sylus on January 28th, 2007 @ 4:50am CST
While I agree a repaint of Energon Constructicon Maximus is a tad lame for Hasbro to put into their Classics series I will be picking him up. I do think they could have at least changed 2 of the constructicons though so you didn't have to have multiples.
Re: New Images of Transformers Classics Devastator (3567)
Posted by Fang Wolf on January 28th, 2007 @ 6:01am CST
I would have prefered a new Stunticon set, than this crap. Menasor realy needs redoing.
Re: New Images of Transformers Classics Devastator (3587)
Posted by sparkofchaos on January 28th, 2007 @ 7:24am CST
new mold = more investment, repaint = much cheaper, some leftover production = even more reason for repaint, lack of new mold = less people buying but still plenty enough purchases to earn money, lesson for Hasbro = might be a good strategy to every now and then save the good or less hideous colors for repaints when sales are difficult to predict, problem for tfans = lack of new molds despite possibly better colors, concern for perfectionists = this is unacceptable, celebration for hardcore collectors = finally the right colors or does it matter?

I like him actually. I know that repaints irk many people, but this one does not offend me too much.
Re: New Images of Transformers Classics Devastator (3644)
Posted by Deszaras on January 28th, 2007 @ 9:05am CST
A new mold for the six Constructicons would be awesome. But what we get? the same crap, different colors.
Re: New Images of Transformers Classics Devastator (3664)
Posted by on January 28th, 2007 @ 9:34am CST
I'm really pleased with this one. The colours are *mostly* better, and they all come in one set, rather than the ridiculous 'search 14 different stores spread across the country and still only find three limbs...'
I like the molds, and so will be buying this set happily!
Re: New Images of Transformers Classics Devastator (3717)
Posted by jgilkinson on January 28th, 2007 @ 10:30am CST
repaint or not he is a good repaint. i'll get him if for no other reason than to have a complete classic set. he does look pretty good though
Re: New Images of Transformers Classics Devastator (3728)
Posted by Liege Evilmus on January 28th, 2007 @ 10:47am CST
I like the more uniform colors, but beyond that, I wasn't a fan of this guy the first time around, so I can't see this being any different.

Still, if I find him on clearance, box sets are nice to keep sealed for prosperity.
Re: New Images of Transformers Classics Devastator (3766)
Posted by Thunder_breaker on January 28th, 2007 @ 11:26am CST
I admit I would rather have new molds, but this isn't that bad. Besides, I never got the Energon one. Furthermore, I hope they repaint and rerelease the Superion from energon. And you have to admit this is a nice way to pad out the Decepticon forces for the classics. I don't know about anyone else, but I include my new Soundwave and Predaking in my classics Decepticon line to make them greater in number.
Re: New Images of Transformers Classics Devastator (3772)
Posted by Redimus on January 28th, 2007 @ 11:29am CST
I will get him if I can find him for a decent enough price this side of the pond. Especilly since I dont have any of the Energon combiners.

I would much rather have a highly-detailed, highly-articulated highly-original-toy-accurate non-separating non-transforming Devastator figure than this steaming smegpile. I'll just stick to my G1 KOs, thank you very much.

The main point is that it's an EXCLUSIVE (in this case to Wal*Mart), and exclusives have always been repaints thus far. Somehow they always forget...

He met a floosy fembot that forced the idea that he didn't need the group to get by and should pursue a solo career, so he did.

I don't have any of the Energon combiners either so I hope to someday soon own Devastator from Classics and Superion from Energon. Though how kick ass would it be if they did a Classics Predaking?

I can't make em any bigger.

I wanna pick this one up.
Re: New Images of Transformers Classics Devastator (4377)

Although these are partially considered Energon, I'm gonna pick 'em up. Only Energon figures I had were Megatron, Prime, & Bulkhead. They were okey. But I can accept the Energon Constructicons as Classics Constructicons. At least they're all the same color scheme, which pleases me to some extent. Maybe the Energon Aerialbots & Comabticons should get this treatment...........I dunno.

Everytime I try to win an ebay auction for the complete constructicons in good to MISP shape, G1 or G2 I get wiped out by someone with more money to burn.

So quite frankly I welcome this box set and will definitely pick it up if anything else to bolster my classics decepticons.

The person i was looking through earlier had them in good condition, both Devastators from G1 and Energon as well as Bruticus Maximus and I think they were buy now or best offer, if I do find the seller I'll send ya a PM.

honestly, i really don't see what you people like in this mold.
it's horrible
it was horrible in energon and it still looks horrible.

i know designing new molds is expensive.....but c'mon.
these molds are horrible.

nothing about these molds screams devastator to me.

i'll just leave it for the people who have got their jollies off of this figs.
