New TFC Toys Hercules Teaser Images

Green drum eh....

I don't really care what the final colors are going to be. I just cannot wait to have this huge combiner bot on top of my display standing with one foot on top of FP Bruticus and FP Superion in his grasp held over his head. Total Devastation!!

Is that a new visor for the previously seen head, or a completely new headsculpt?? Damn blurry teasers!!!

I don't understand the purpose of the blurry images. Is not being able to see it supposed to make me want to buy it more? If so, it's not working.

On topic: Although a purple barrel would look great in Devi mode, I can see how dumb it would look in in vechicle mode. Kind of like green or purple threads on Scavenger or Bonecrusher. I guess they were shooting for realistic looking construction vechicles while maintaining G1 characteristics. As far as the new head, it looks like a clip on visor, but I could be wrong. Im sure some company will come out with a G1 head and maybe G1 accurate weapons for this set. Im sure the demand would be great.

Off topic: I swear, only in the TF collecting world do people blur their advertisments to create teasers. I wonder if Chevy or Ford could get away with that type of nonsense in their advertisments ? And from the comments above mine, it looks like Im not the only one who does not respect this tactic.

So let me get this straight: they show us what 80% of the thing looks like at the prototype stage, people already own several parts of it and now at the very end of the road they blur it like they're hiding something. Do they think people will be surprised that it's Devastator?

I'm assuming it's blurred because it looks like Mad Blender and Neck Breaker are molded in final colour plastic but may not yet be fully painted (for example, MB's truck windows appear unpainted; the two black spots visible in the full body shots are too high up to be the windows).

I don't know that there's any differences to the head, I think that's just blurring. It would be strange if there are at this point, since the head is part of Dr. Crunk Crank, who has already begun shipping (I hope to have mine this week).

In any case, TFC, SHOW US THE DEVY!

Hercules' head is only attached by a ball joint, isn't it? I'm sure it could be easily swapped for a new head sculpt if they were providing one. But I'll agree that it's probably just clip-on sunglasses.

I personally wouldn't have minded a purple drum on Blender. In fact, I think I would've preferred it. I don't think it would have looked too weird as most cement mixing trucks have drums that are coloured differently to the rest of the bodywork. Plus it would mean we wouldn't have eight bright green weapons.

I know Neckbreaker can't be seen clearly (even if it wasn't for the pointless blur), but looking at him I wouldn't be surprised if he had some paint apps on him too.

He very well could, it's just pretty obvious that Mad Blender's windows are unpainted.

Seems pretty dippy to me to blur him at this point, especially considering I've had this image as my background for weeks now.


But all that aside, It's looking good.

I'd prefer purple parts for the mixing drum, but whatever.
I expect someone will make aftermarket parts for that at some point.

With the way the parts combine on that barrel, you know they had more options. I would have at least like a stripe around the middle or something.

It's a tough decision. I'm going to have trouble not getting them both because both Hercules and Giant look excellent, though that's a LOT of scratch. I'm already committed to the Hercster in any case; should be getting Structor and Dr. Crunk Crank this week; with Heavy Labor and Exgraver sitting in a pile of loot.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed this; thus my suggestion for this kindly member re: The Bridge.

I can't blame TFC for wanting to keep people talking about their figure.

I'm glad he'll come with a visor! I don't think it's a whole new head ... what would be the point of that if the only difference is the visor? Although it doesn't make him nearly as toon accurate as a new head would (he'd need to be balding for that), it's still much appreaciated!

As for Herc VS Giant ... the real winners are the fans!

Anyone else wishing for a black/grey drum and combined rifle?

For now I'm only getting Dr. CrunkCrank and Structor shipped to me....

After receiving Exgraver I was so impressed with him as an individual I decided I wanted two of each, one set combined one set as individuals. This is just a fun side effect. I'm going to take some more pics shortly with the rest of my Classic Decepticons.

I think my corneas need refocused.

I wash off comments about hating Hercules because I have all 4 parts currently assembled and even though it isn't finished it is a work of art and I don't regret the cash I have spent on it. This is the ultimate Devastator for me and I can't wait to finish him next year.

Same here, 40 hours a week at the office plus working for shares on my family's cattle ranch. Plus the wife has a really good job, and we have no kids or debt. Even got the house paid off.

I have a budget, no debt and work 40+ hours at work.

Budget and prioritization are the name of the game for large purchases such as Hercules parts; it doesn't hurt anything that HasTak has released few things worth purchasing lately (outside of MP-09 and MP-10).

Really looking forward to completing this badboy. Even went and completed the Junkion Infinity Warfare sets so he has an equally bad-*$$ looking sword to compliment him. I will say, though, the green drum saddens me a bit. Hopefully Reprolabel will remedy this (extremely) minor setback.

I only get 25 hours a week with while going to college. Most of my money goes to helping other people or paying for food, with the occasional deluxe figure every now and then.
