I totally agree with you Forgotten.

BB's face just turns me right off. Most bots I keep in bot mode, but IF I get him, he will be in alt mode, probably near forever.

Shouldn't Soundwave's chest fold up so you see the blue circles?

well i only collect army based autobots and very rarely too, as for soundwave at first i dident like the look of the figure but ill be honest it has grown on me, apart from the 'tail' nice one,

and as for the 'comments' on the actual artical why cant people understand that soundwave cant be a cd player because soundwave needs to be big and scary (and im hoping a little pshcopathic) and he cant be a small bot like frenzy.

What a surprise: Soundwave is a preview figure. Like we didn't see that coming a mile away.

BB's expression looks as though Soundwave just stuck his "Ravage" appendage where the Sun don't shine, Decepticon prisoner style.

I'm definately skipping "Permanent State of Shock" Bumblebee (but likely will nab the new voyager human alliance one)...Soundwave will do me all right though...

That Bumblebee's face is going to haunt me in my sleep, I just know it ..I kinda see how they were going for movie accuracy, but still.. poor guy looks like he just sat on himself (if you guys know what I mean)

Soundwave looks awesome though, definatley going to be picking up one of those.

JEEZ I wonder how many versions of Bumblebee we'll get this time around? I wish they came out with a different character in protoform mode for the preview figures. No complaints about Soundwave thus far!

Soundwave's massive tail-flap is unfortunate, I wonder if it might be flipped upward instead. (And are those Energon chips? Huh?) Minor point- looks great otherwise, I'll get him for sure. I might get that BB during a drought, already have a few of him from Movie 1.

To me, it looks like Soundwave has a big sword on his back. As for Bumblebee, I might buy him if i'm wasted enough.

Too me they should've done something with Bumblebees face, at least a little refinement. As for Soundwave, now he's badass, but in starfighter mode, it resembles Vector Prime a bit and where does ravage go?

Why is everyone complaining about the face? He had a stupid face in the film, now his toy has a stupid face too. A movie accurate toy at last!

SW looks good in these pics cos they gave him a great paint job. He'll look cheap n nasty in real life. And I don't like it when the fists face that direction.

But for god's sake Hasbro, is that the best pic you could get of BB's car mode?

Yup, its the deluxe one alright.. just with a slight retool of the chest, new head sculpt, and a new right forearm.

And I really don't see the issue with Bumblebee's head.

Since these are preview toys, will Hasbro make newer toys for the characters? I'd be glad if Hasbro release new deluxe Bumblebee mold, instead of buying the Human Alliance one.

Soundwave looks cool. I can see that as his Cybertron mode. Bumblebee is just an epic fail. That head sucks. Well that saves me about $20 since i normally buy 2 of each preview figure. Guess ill buy an extra Soundwave.

I am so going to be getting that Soundwave!

I'll prolly pick up Bumbles I'm a sucker for that mold. Soundwave I don't know yet I'll wait and see if they make an earth mode.

Yeah I hope I can see his (possible) earth mode toy first--if I like that better I'll only get that mode. Otherwise, this toy is looking pretty tough to beat. I like a unique alt-mode mixed in now and then (too often and its not unique!).

I'm very cool with Soundwave as a satellite, have been from the start, and if he reformats into an Earthen satellite, ill be just as happy.

I love the tape deck but without mass shifting its not fair to the character to continue the G1 style.

Besides, I've come to understand the movies as a reenvisionment of the franchise, and not March of the Homages.

Though I still want a Grimlock dinosaur. The animatronic T-rex in Toys R Us in Manhatten would suit me fine.

I'd skip this one and buy the Voyager.

Soundwave looks great. Evil, scary, and his face even as a touch of the traditional look.

Bumblebee is alright, but I'll skip him, My movie 1 Bumblebee figures are enough for me. As for the face, I too hate it. I much prefer his "battle mask." I would have been fine if it had been the only face he had.

But seriously, I'm hoping that the way they're going to play this is that as they spend more time on Earth that they start to develop more humanistic elements (such as the hands...).

i agree, personally my way would be to have what ever scenes in it then towards the end a space shot moving away from earth slowly revealin SW in his satalite mode with some nice satalite sound effects

Anyone else notice what looks like at least part of Megatron's body after getting the allspark jammed into his chest on the top soundwave's vehicle mode? I might just be seeing things but that's what it looks like to me. Also, first time posting in this forum, woot!

For those of you with issues about BB's face, just picture Barricade kicking 'Bee square in the "oil filter" and then tell me that that face doesn't go perfect with that mental picture. No need to thank me for that one, the pleasure was all mine.

Soundwave looks deliciously wicked in his 'bot mode. He'll look greast on my shelf where G1, Cybertron series and TFA Soundwave are already side-by-side. (still need to find a leather jacket for TFA Soundwave).
I wish I still had G1 ActionMaster Soundwave for the collection but this new one is going to top all of them for bad-assness, even the Cybertron series one.
