Official images have been released of the new Transformers Movie deluxe-class figures. They are Stealth Bumblebee (08 Camaro Bumblebee repaint with remolded battle-mask head) and Salvage (Dropkick repaint).

Frig, I hate to say this about a repaint, but BB may have to be bought twice!?!
The bot mode is so-so although I like the head, However the Alt especialy with the package backround...
...dam, thats porn-tastic!
Salvage I know has been a recent fan favorite, but for me, I'm sorry, it's a pass.
Still, if these are the official pics, I can't help but wonder if something like the warp in that front fender will lead to future problems?

Has anybody else noticed that Bumblebee has something that looks like Cybertronian next to the wheel arch. It's very small and in white but it's there.

I'd do it if the mold is good enough. Beast Machines' deluxe-class Jetstorm figure was an example of this. I've bought all 5 decos I know about of this mold, and while repaints often get old fast I would get more of this mold if they're produced.
I might pick up this version of Bumblebee if I see it.
By these photos I've gotta say I'm glad I haven't picked up Dropkick yet. I'd rather have Salvage and pass on Dropkick.

Stealth Bumblebee looks nice and with the new face looks even cooler. Though I would get rid of all the yellow.
Salvage looks nice but the legs are too thin/"chicken like". Loving the "Sparkplug and Son" plug. Nice detail.

Bumblebee 'the stealth version' is a must buy. I really like the colors like that. In fact if they sport those colors on a real life version, I might have to seriously consider...
I am not a big fan of solid reds on figures, but I will have to get Salvage just for his incredibly smart advertising.

wow. these images are very convincing. extreme detail exposure makes them look much better.
salvage is one of the repaints that look better than the original (c'mon, a gigantic Con symbol on the hood and roof?).
Why couldn't they just make a head that would come with the battle mask? So that it can be slided up and down.

You know, I think Hasbro should hire a 9 year old to transform their figures for them. THey obviously can't do it themselves...leave it to administration to muck up a toy that my 5 year old nephew could change. And I'll bet the kid would work for free if you just gave him the toy. Hell, in that case, I want to put in my application...
I proudly note that my nephew's first song wasn't the Alphabet song...it was the G1 Transformers theme...at age 2 1/2 Takes after his uncle...

Yep, this Bumblebee is a must-buy. Especially since I never got my hands on an 08 Bumblebee. I got the classic camaro version recently, thanks to a TRU restock. Sadly, I did not recall reading countless posts about people not reading the instructions and accidentally breaking their Bumblebee, until it was too late. It's true, pride cometh before the fall. My poor Bumblebee has a snapped hinge now. Thankfully, it still holds and functions, but gentle care will be required from now on. This just goes to show that no matter how long you've been into TransFormers, never be too proud to check the instructions.
All is well, however, because I like BB's battlemask better than his regular face anyway, and this Stealth version is just too sweet to pass up.

stealth bumblebee looks fantastic! he's a must get for me i love the head on him aswell i'll swap the head between the 2 for role-play things but i need to get him for the figure aswell he just looks so cool in car and robot mode he reminds me of a ninja a bit with that much black on him
