Hasbro has again updated their online catalog with new images of new comer Voyager Class Deep Dive. He may be the newest Decepticon on the block but he lacks any real Decepticon zeal. Check his bio below:

DEEP DIVE loves the sea. Floating on the calm, dark blue waters of the deepest ocean with land nowhere in sight, he can finally relax and reflect. Far away from DECEPTICONS and AUTOBOTS alike, he contemplates the true meaning of life. He appears outwardly calm, but inside his mind roils with philosophical concepts both complex and mundane. One day soon, when the war finally ends, he hopes to share his thoughts with his fellow warriors, and show them that there are more important things in life than mere victory.

I'm suprised we haven't seen an Ultra-price point gift pack/box set of these or the Mindwipe/Skystalker molds.

Takara have already taken advantage of it with the Dreadwing and Smokecreen pack.

I pity the guy who has to come up with a bio that doesn't give away the character's allegiance. Not easy to do that without getting a bit boring.

I kind of like the colors. But, naming this guy after a minicon sub which can actually dive deep? I just don't get it.

I suppose he has to transform so he can use his flippers to dive deep.

I'll wait until extreme clearance for this one, I think... I-)

Seaspray looked awesome and really pulled the old nostalgia strings, but I really only need one of this mold.

Also, wasn't Deep Dive a submarine? The name makes more sense for a sub which goes beneath the water than for a hovercraft which well hovers above it. I guess since he has scuba gear.. but I still need only one of this mold.

No way I'll buy this guy, the colour scheme is crap and he really doesn't suit the Decepticons, character wise. I guess he and Mindset are the two RTS toys that are actually surprising. I'm happy that so far we've only seen two or three crap toys for RTS as well, out of all the toys they've shown I'm only put off by Deep Dive, Strafe, Mindset and Fallback (pretty much all of the ROTF/HFTD repaints).

I didn't get Seaspray, and I'm still not thinking it's very likely that I will, but I might actually get this repaint. I like the colour scheme a bit better, and I need more larger-than-Deluxe-class Decepticons.

I actually like his bio. I get so fed up with the usual mindless thugs that we usually get as characters for Decepticons.

On Hasbros site can you see that this guy is an Autobot the rubsign is light up abit and you can see the Autobot symbol. Go to the site and tune up the gamma abit and you can see that.

I really like the colors on this one so even if i am a G1 collector "only" so will i pick him up.
