Our friends at Shout! Factory have announced that they will be releasing Transformers Beast Machines: The Complete Series this fall. The set will be priced at $29.93 retail ($24.93 Shout! Factory price), and is scheduled to release on September 2nd. See addition details and cover art below:

Transformers: Beast Wars may have come to an end, but the adventures of Optimus Primal and his team of Maximals have just begun! When the Maximals return to their home planet of Cybertron, they find that everything has changed. Cybertron seems to have been abandoned…that is, except for the Vehicon drones policing the planet! To make matters worse, the Maximals discover that they've been infected with a virus that threatens to wipe them out, unless they can adapt. Enter the world of the Beast Machines!

It sucks that everyone hates this series. I really liked it and might pick this up. It was mature with real world problems. BM asked questions like : What it means to transform? organic vs. metallic? What is harmony? It introduced depth to characters like Tankor unexpectedly. For those that have never seen it, I suggest you pick this up too. It may be a bit depressing for kids though.

sweet! already own the rhino version... but ill probably still pick this set up. and it is sad that most people hate this series. it and BW are tied for my favorite series'.

I need to watch Beast Machines over, since I've forgotten 90% of it. Looks like I'll be grabbing this at some point.
