I wouldn't take RobotKingdom to be a good sign of this happening since RobotKingdom is based in Hong Kong and regularly import their items anyway.

Robot Kingdom is good with dates but I have a feeling these won't be in until the end of the month. It'll be $115 for the whole set, not including shipping.

Yup. RK sometimes got it even earlier. Btw, I prefer this Starscream over the Jetfire retool.

The fact that they are calling it a GDO series means a stateside release probably isn't planned.

The sad part?

That Cyber 11-inch Prime is the closest we'll probably ever get to an IDW-accurate Optimus. ( ._.)

Facebooker José Luis Santana has the Transformers Generations Cyber Battalion Series Optimus Prime, Megatron, & Starscream in hand and took some pictures! Its a more simplified line and appears to be focusing on a G1 aesthetic. They're shown in both modes and even in comparison to some Combiner Wars and Classics figure to give you a feel for scale. I like the Megatron. Can the others not bend their knees?

Only one I want is Megatron. No knees no buy.

Bicep swivels on Megatron would've been great, but as is he's still the best of the line to me. Hopefully he'll get a U.S release though, as I don't like him enough to pay import prices on him.

Where'd that other Voyager Prime come from? It's paint layout is different than the usual Combiner Wars Prime. I thought there was only a Hasbro release.

I like that Optimus(over the combiner war version and Starscream better. Megs too! Given the TT paint apps. On the otherhand, hat house is a fire trap!Is the owner a m0r0n or what? Can afford a digicam but can't fix that electric outlet?

Prime looks downright anorexic.

These don't really appeal to me, but they seem like they might be good for kids graduating from Rescue Bots or something.

Those look terrible. They're essentially larger sized Legends figures. I won't be adding them to my collection.

I like that megatron, the others are meh!

Starscream dosent need any knees. He would never bend them to anyone anyway.

I totally agree, these are the hyerchange and titan figures done right. I would say this is more of a compliment to the rescue bots line. A step between that and generations, without having to go through the other ones.

Why you gotta make them out of two different shades of plastic? I can obviously see the different reds on Optimus. And the metallic gray on Megatron just makes the plastic gray look like absolute garbage by proximity.

Do we know if this is coming to the US?

I'm glad you agree! Honestly, I would love it if they downsized this style to deluxe sized (5 inches or so) and did the Rescue bot line. That would make a great toyline for kids and Rescue Bots fans alike

These have been in costa rican retailers for a little while now.

I haven't seen Starscream yet, he probably comes in fewer numbers. I've seen tons of Optimuses, Megatrons and Bumblebees.

This is only for a small part of the world, not a main line toyline. This works for what it is really. And some KO aren't that bad. That KO AoE Grimlock looks nice considering it is in good scale. I wouldn't have minded a huge AoE Grimlock like that so it scaled nicely.

I see both the pluses and minuses of these. Not sure what to make of Megatron there. The alt mode looks kind of like a bar of hotel soap....

Am I the only one who can see the Optimus being customized to have knees and a little better of a paint job and the replacing the chug voyager from a while back

A good solution would be to take another toys legs an put them on these guys.




Problem solved and I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone else suggest this.

If Starscream had knees and a few repaints he'd be really tempting, just for the size. As it stands, the Classic Seeker mould is still for me.

Haha, I knew you would bring that up. The last time TRU carried it was because of the demand by fans (supposedly). It was supposed to never make it to the states hence why none of those toys were meant to represent the defining classics version of those characters. I dont see as much clamouring for this line. Not saying it wont make it to north america but the signs point to no for the moment.

Well these certainly look cheap and awful.

Transformers for kids. I love em. They decent size, simple transformation but have some articulation which is better then the 1 and 3 step crap. I would buy all 3 if they offered them. If Prime and Screamer had leg articulation they would be perfect for basic figure made to be abused, but transform simple but effectively in my opinion.

Instead to the quick change stuff they really should go with this direction for the kid geared line.
