Weibo user Z-Multiplier, who has all the Titans Return images but is leaking them out slowly, has chosen now to finally leak a full image of the 3-D render of Titans Return Brainstorm.

We have attached this image below along with other images recapping both the previous image of the altmode (also courtesy of Z Multiplier) and the official Hasbro image of Titans Return Blurr for you to see which parts are new and reworked between the two.

Enjoy!

I just noticed that in the 3D renders of Blurr, his Autobot symbol rotates and changes the position. :-P

But not on the actual toy ;)

Brainstorm actually sort of works. The generations one still looks better, but that works for him :BOT:

Has anybody noticed that Soundwave was displayed in his base mode? #-o
Just detected him by looking at Scourge.

The actual funny thing about this is that he caught my attention on this pic:

Yup, I saw him, they were trying to show how the base modes interacted so they had blaster on one side and his mold twin on the other.

Yep, noticed that, too, but the ramps are way too steep. That's really dumb.

I dont think the ramps are supposed to be functional, but to simply conect them. And now we know how and where.

On Fort Max' shoulder is a red ramp:

And here we see it connected to Soundwave's blue ramp:

I think the ramps should be functional. Otherwise it's just a means for the purpose.

Maybe cos it's just more detailed but I think I'm liking that Brainstorm more than the Voyager one now. Still think it a bit strange that he got two figures in recent times when we still waiting for figures of other notable characters but whatever.

The only thing still bugging me is the ship mode nose bit. I dunno if anyone answered me before or even knows the answer but I'd still very much like to know if it can be put on his back. (actually looking at Blurr suggests that his alt mode nose can be stored on his back so I assume same is true for Brainy).

The upside down Autobot insignia on Blurr's altmode is bugging me a bit too. Not sure how that can be helped though. Maybe I'd remove that one, stick a Reprolabel one on his alt mode's nose in front of the cockpit and then for robot mode have one each on his shoulders like G1 Prime sorta thing.

Oh I am in full agreement with you, but its pretty evident that Hasbro is just using them as a means for the purpose.

I am pretty sure he cant. It just attaches to his arm just like the G1 Blurr toy which the original mold is imitating.

Thats why I preffer the voyager. But its still cool that Hasbro is releasing another brainstorm in a cost effective way so that fans can get all their headmasters in the right scale. They are being spared a lot of nerd rage by doing this.

And I dont mind Hasbro releasing the same character again, they do it every year with Prime and they just did it with Trailbreaker.

Blurr is okay, I might even pick him up if I ever see one in stores, but using that mold for Brainstorm is complete and utte Rd shit. So horribly inferior to the generations figure.

I was just wondering what's going on in this pic.
Image

He's definitely got something on his back and not wearing it on his arms. At first I thought it was the back of the vehicle like on the old toy but I think the rear turns into his legs and if so then that must be the nose part on the rear unless I'm wrong. Which I nearly always am but I'm trying to be right. :P

Ah sorry I must have missed it. So much stuff gets posted in here it's difficult to keep up to date and not just jump ahead to the most recent posts. Either way I'm definitely interested in both Blurr and Brainstorm if that is definitely the case (even moreso if the nose cones have flip over onto the backs without partsforming if you want to ignore they use their vehicle mode fronts as shields).

Cool. Zoom into Blurr, it looks like there be a hinge behind the neck area so I'm hoping that's whatever piece the nosecones attach to can be used to simply flip those onto the backs without removing them. If so then great. :)

I guess it's a 5 mm peg to peg it somewhere into with a Headmaster sitting in it like we saw on a 3D render of Fort Max's base mode with Skullsmasher's tail.

Ah right. I haven't seen that. Just noticed on the Blurr render it's same colour as the surrounding area but on the actual toy in the photos they're not even trying to hide it as it's coloured in his darker blue.

I think so. Just open the picture in another tab with a right mouse click. And you can see two rectangular pegs on the shield and two rectangular ports on his shoulders. So that's very likely to just flip over and peg in there. ;)

I was hoping it'd be storable on the back too.

I can't wait to see a rear shot, so I can start planning a structural mod that makes the guns removable from the shield and the sheild stow away. Doesn't seem like it would be too difficult, really.

Well from looking at the back of Blurr we're fairly sure Brainstorm can hold his nosecone on his back too and I'm gonna guess the guns are removable cos it just makes sense for them to do it that way rather than mold a whole more complex piece of having the nosecone and guns all as one. Hopefully we'll see pics of Brainstorm wielding the nosecone guns in his hands at some point soon.

G1 can wait, they've been around for 30 years, they'll be around 5 years from now. And plus, as Hasbro rereleases G1 toys, the value of the vintage ones will go down a bit. So you can afford to concentrate on current toys for this year. That's the plan I am going for.

Look at the pics I brought up, we can see it stored on his back.

Also

This just in for Titans Return Rumours

Someone saw an internal document from Hasbro describing upcoming toys. One of them was Godbomber which is made with the attention of serving as an add on to Gen Power Master Optimus Prime. There was no image (just placeholder) and as we all know, not all toys mentionned see a release, but this is still a fun idea that really surprises me from Hasbro.

If they do it, I will certainly buy Gen Power Master Prime.

Actually, lets look back just a bit at recent history.

There was a Trailbreaker in ...

2008 (encore):

Image
Transformers Encore Trailbreaker (Reissue) Gallery

2010 (RTS):

Image

2013 (prime):

Funny enough, in the Prime line (begining with First Edition and ending with Beast Hunters), there is no Jazz, or Cosmos or BlueStreak or Sideswipe...but they did have a Trailcutterbreaker:

Image

Oh and 2013 also gave us Generations Trailbreaker and in 2016 we got a new one that can combine.

So all in all, I think he's had a nice amount of toys. He's definitely faired better than Ironhide in the west with 2 superior Classics toys.

ZeroWolf wrote:If the godbomber rumour Is true (I have doubts)

I have doubts too. Of everything I heard, this is the one that sounds the least likely to me. But then again if I was told Takara would make a toy of IDW Roller that teams up to for Galvatronus I wouldn't have believed it.

Delta Magnus wrote:Eh. The 2013 Voyager looks better.

I agree, but mainly by principle that it's a unique mold made just for him (was never used again) and trying to capture his IDW look to a T. Thogh I must admit, I really hate that Arcana, his arms...

If the rumour was that takara was coming out with godbomber then I wou like doing be more optimistic but hasbro...For starters I couldn't see them keeping the name, things have changed greatly since Deathsycthe Hell had to have a slight change when dubbed into english (not to mention G Gundam getting many changes)

The name shouldnt be part of the reason though, simply because it's not called godbomber. I just wrote that because it was less confusing to know what i was referring to. This is what the post (by matrixholder) was:

Since it's already out there, yes there is a power up trailer called apex that is a separate robot that turns into a trailer that combines with power master Optimus prime being developed by Hasbro.

The fact that the titanmaster is already called Apex makes this a bit less believable.
Re: Transformers Titans Return Brainstorm 3-D Render (1768018)

Yeah when they put it like that, it suddenly becomes even less likely. Almost like they've just read up on the reissue power master prime that cane with godbomber (now rechristened apex armour) for the first time in the west, and then thought that was the route hasbro was taking here.

Posting what? In any case, to ensure a news credit, you have to follow the proper channel and send us a message. I don't know how clearer it can be since I made it part of my own signature with the right link. As its written "If you have any news, rumours, or hot new sightings to report which you feel should be front paged, please contact us using this form."

If it's about the recent Brainstorm news, Mindmaster sent us a message so that's how we saw the pic of Brainstorm and found the coloured one and he gets a news credit.

My post that was like two posts before the news one with the link to Zmultiplier's profile it's in this thread.

I guess that's my bad or whatever.

prob coz you didn't go through proper channels! they're very particular about that!

personally i don't really see the point of news credits, coz it's not as if you get a discount with them for online purchases or something!

but hey! that's just me ;)

Are you kidding? I got a year's free subscription to the Seibertron forums for each of my news credits.

Wait....what?

At any rate, I am stoked to get Fort Max and start linking bases together. My wife is not going to like the basement anymore... :-s

Now you're getting it ;)^

I like this ethos of connecting bases, I hope all of the titan class figures have the ramps available for their base modes :-?

Don't worry: my mom will also be less than thrilled! The transformers can only get so big before I cannot sneak them in  :MAXIMAL:

Huh, well, here's something unexpected. The Blurr/Brainstorm mold shares its thighs and smaller gun with the Chromedome mold:

That is really bizarre.
