Oh, Va'al, you sly sly devil. Why must you mention that you go on secret missions with Ryan and Simon Furman himself? That's like saying "Don't push that button!!!" and me going "Aw, now I got ta!"

Personally, I'm looking forward seeing how Trypticon emerges. I never got 'Plex, but I may just get Tryp.

Also looking forward to the comics, and the often advertised "Issue 50" for each series we've been hearing about.

Also, the Titan Masters Sentinel Prime looks suspiciously like another triple-changing spaceship-battle train-robot. I'm excited for the implication.

You know what I'm not excited for? TF5. The first film was great, ROTF sucked balls, DOTM was okay, and AOE started strong, had a cool villain, but dragged on and on and on. I'll probably see it, but only to support the franchise. I suppose at the very least, I can't be too disappointed if my expectations stay low.

Glad your excited Nemesis Maximo but it looks like you will have to wait till 2017 for a few things. Firstly, the movie is only coming out then and Trypticon will only be seen in 2017 as well. But you'll have FortMax to calm you over. And since you dont have plex, fortmax will be a totally new mold for you

Google wasn't making it easy and I've heard of the comic and I actually have it digitally stashed away for a rainy day. Educate me kind sir.

Okay, you know what, WJ-88?! You sir, are absolutely right about Trypticon. Thanks for reminding me; Actually Inhad forgotten about Fort Max. Honestly, I'll probably pass on him as I did with Plex. I was really holding out for an MTMTE inspired version at a Leader scale. I mean, I get why HasTak is doing what they're doing with him, but I just don't have the space to justify too many Titan figures. And Trypticon is more important to me than either Plex or Max.

As for the movie, you are also right. I don't suppose we could count all the news we will no doubt hear about it this year though, could we?

And Hellscream, to answer your question... Yes. Yes it could be Stormbringer Astrotrain. Never has a revealed figure been asking to be retooled/redecoed into another character since...um...Alpha Bravo into Vortex? Heh heh.

That design was taken from the character sketches in the back of the Stormbringer graphic novel, that was what Astrotrain looked like, or was supposed to look like in Stormbringer:



As Sentinel is quite blantantly an updated version of this, I can only assume Astrotrain is coming

There were also a bunch of sketches in the back of the War Within graphic novels too

It's been said he would be coming and simply be a repaint. I am definitely gonna be waiting for him to experience that mold.

I think he meant leader like "take me to your leader".

I didn't relize AT was set in stone yet. So just a repaint? No retooling? I just did a little image searching to refresh my memory. The detail makes the figure appear to be huge in alt mode, especially space ship mode. It would be a cool leader class fig.

Guys, I get it's a figure for this year and people are interested in it, but let's not stray away from the rest of the topic please.

Ok I get what he meant now. And yeah, no retooling. It makes sense though, all you need is some windows painted on that shuttle and BAM. He will have his own head though.

I'm still filled with glee every time I start wrapping Hotspot's ladder around his body

You know, it really has been a blurr of great figures this year. Good call on them back packs. Backpacks and combining was all the rage at Cybertron High in 2015. Onslaughts is easy to fashion into a weapon of doom, but it takes a little imagination to get Hot Spot's into something cool. You can flip it up and over his shoulder to make a pretty convincing bazooka. I have a pic of that floating around somewhere.

But honestly, I think backpack of the year award goes to legends Shockwave. He can ride on Onslaught and/or Bruticus ready to be rotated up at a moments notice. I'm actually kinda surprised he didn't get any shout outs in the recap.
