I think it was the only Rodimus option they had, but its not really as bad as they say. That Galvatron, had more issues than Roddy ever had.

And then I cried for a good 20 minutes when I found out it was Titanium Rodimus. GG/10 boxset everyone would want; a toy from one of the more infamously bad lines and an infamously bad toy from a good toyline. What even is happening who made this decision

It's the anniversary of the 1986 Movie, and Hasbro probably just did what they could with available molds. There really isn't another official toy outside of G1, Titanium, and Masterpiece. I do like someone else's suggestion that they should just have released the G1 molds as an Encore style in movie accurate colors...

That said ... I kinda wish they did use the smaller Energon Galvatron mould redecoed into actually good colours. It's not perfect by any means, but I think it's work better than the tank version.
But both of these moulds are okay. Mediocre is just the right word.

Likes: Bayverse, Marvel UK G1, Geoff Senior art, '86 movie (more for style/soundtrack rather than Star Wars plot)
Dislikes: Bumblebee movie (lousy rehashed dumb crud), TFA, G1 cartoon, IDW G1, BW/BM, MP. The entire concept of Autobot Megatron

I don't hate that mold as much as some but it does sting to think what it could of been like if he wasn't moved down a size class.

WOW. That is a lot.Holy crap. I might not be able to get it until it goes on sale then.
They are normally $115 combined to begin with, so platinum prices would push it up that far

Usually they go on sale at the end of the year, but doesn't that mean I wouldn't be able to get it until the end of 2017? Man. That sucks.

For the price this thing wil go for, I would not call anything it comes with free

Thats what I did when I first heard of this set.

I have no clue why Takara wont do more encores or rereleases. Youwould think it's easy money for either company.

You know what's interesting, if they did that would be the first time Hasbro ever releases that smaller mold in Galvatron colours.

Or, the Matrix and box price is $150, and the other stuff fills in the rest of whatever price it ends up being. Doesn't MP10 go for $150+ now? Methinks it's the Matrixwilliam-james88 wrote:itscramtastic wrote:Also, free Matrix included with the set!

No joke, I know Shajaki once considered the reissue just so he could get the key to vector sigma. 150$ was for the key adn the rest was extras

I bought that reissue as a present for my nephew and kept the Vector Sigma!! Also, just realized I was confusing the non-existent as of yet price for the Rodimus/Galvatron set with the higher non-existent as of yet price for the Autobot Heroes set. Derp.

Doesnt mean I am getting this set, mind you. I wonder what the fandom would have done if they used his Energon Rodimus Major figure?
