Do you feel it is worth it at the price advertized here?

ScottyP wrote:I gotcha, but I very rarely have an answer for "was it worth it to you" beyond "I wanted the toy and found the price acceptable enough to decide to purchase it." As for why I'd want it at all, I can maybe add something with that: Junkions, basically. Seemed like a good opportunity to get some spare motorcycles.
On Hot Rod, once the set arrives I'll once again have every last version of that mold. Only other appealing thing is the novelty of it having the port to hold Firebolt on the hood in car mode.

He's, like, the only one I watch. Definitely underrated.

Same exclusive retailer and same era molds, I think that would be a smart bet.
Oh and I forgot to write this earlier, but asomeone asked why they were only half translucent, well its because they are being reformatted. We already have these molds in their good and accurate decos, we also have the same molds completely done in clear plastic. What we didnt have was the in between phase. This was pretty much the only way to make that set fully new and something we didnt have and I feel it suceeds at that.

See, I actually like that idea. It's only missing the squarish (purple) grid looking reformatting phase of the design. Like this:
Otherwise, it's perfect.
Someone is talking about feeling nostalgic... for CLASSICS HOTROD.... damn I'm oldSillySpringer wrote:I am really hoping a more positive review of the Planet of Junk set comes out soon. I highly want that set both to add to my 1986 movie characters, and out of nostalgia since I remember playing with that Hot Rod toy in about 2005.

I was thinking much the same thing... I mean, it's one thing to feel nostalgic for G1, or the video game Astroids, or when I invented fire, but really...
