It's the predominant social media, they're using it because that is quite literally the best method of reaching their fan base and gauging their opinions.

If people aren't on Facebook, they miss out, that % of people will be barely a blip to them.

Agreed 100%, especially since I'm not on any social media platform but its probably more cost effective than setting up a poll on their own site.

You guys are good. I would have had no idea who the silhouette for C was, even though I have the TFCC version of Needlenose. I'm sure he will be the winner since:

1. Schrapnel's T30 figure, was just re-released in 2018 as part of PotP
2. Gnaw was just released as part of TR
3. Runabout/Runamuck were released as exclusives in Japan under the legends line. Also speaking of Legends...

These three were all part of this size class. Since Needlenose was part of the TFCC, but integrated into the CW aesthetic, I wonder if he wins then this will mean... That the Legends size class will be returning for the 2020 Generations line?

I mean it is pretty silly after all. 2 would be obvious reissues, and the 3rd Hasbro could just swipe from TT the deco of the already existing Legends Blackjack Figure...Unless...there is some stipulation in the wording of the contest (which I cannot see to confirm for myself) that this would be an ALL NEW figure, no matter the result of the poll...

As a college student, these weird poll choices remind me of multiple choice tests I've taken where the answer choices are:
A. Blatantly wrong answer
B. Close to the right answer
C. Obviously the right answer if you think about it

I agree with basically everything you said here, although I disagree that we need a new Quake so soon after the TR one, part of your whole argument and the problem with this poll in the first place is that it has two characters who just got figures in Prime Wars. Also, why did Needlenose specifically come back, but not Spinister? He would easily be a better choice than Gnaw at least.

The issue with Quake is that he'd be 'the odd one out' and the new Impactor mold is a dead ringer for him versus a Hardhead repaint. The thing, with Gnaw and Shrapnel is that they not only already got a toy, but flat out got one that work. There is nothing new to add to Gnaw and Shrapnel except maybe making them bigger.

Quake didn't get a Japanese release? So he'd fit into the same category as the battlchargers for most of us (having a release that's not easily available), though he wouldn't have an earth tank alt mode as part of Siege any way. Just do some battlemasters for the TR one rather than waste a repaint/character slot (and hasbro don't mind having battlemasters that don't really appeal to the Japanese Market by trying to sell characters that were already included with deluxe there).
Would be annoying if they only did one battle charger, which is always a possibility.

I mean, Quake seems like one of the better choices to retool Impactor, given their similar vehicle mode and robot modes. All he'd need is a new head and (maybe) chest. I doubt Hasbro will skip on a chance to reuse the Siege molds down the line in this trilogy, especially if it lacks line-wide gimmicks (that aren't just 5mm ports, anyway).

Admittedly I do wish they were deluxes, but I would rather we get characters who haven't had toys in a while.

I'm pretty indifferent to this poll between recent Hasbro offerings and what we got from FunPub. I'd rather see things like the Legends class Insecticons given a uniform deco than remade all over again. Needlenose I'd go for if I knew I'd also get a Quake that isn't a Titan Master and a Spinnister that isn't a combiner (I'm tired of my teams not being uniform). I'd go for Runabout and Runamuck only if I knew we were getting both at retail. I don't really need another Gnaw.

That's not a thing that exists. They were released in the Adventures line, but they were at Hasbro's Legends scale since they were CW Blackjack repaints/retools. Plus one was a mail away exclusive that you had to buy a book to order making it extra difficult to get. Hasbro and Takara Tomy both should consider these two and Needlenose as priorities.

I like the idea, but I'd be conflicted. Mostly because if we get a new Doubledealer, I'd hope he'd have his powermaster gimmick or something similar to it. But that gimmick doesn't suit Stalker. On the other hand, Stalker having a flight mode might be nice just so, as Emerje said, he'd be able to fly around with his teammates
