I wouldn't say half. The Phantom is longer for sure, and a bit heavier. If I can dig out my X-19, I'll take a comparison pic with the latest ARC-170.

killer whale was the name of the gi joe hovercraft it came with cutter and it was just 1 of the greatest gi joe vehicles.

They make it sound like the RAM, VAMP and Viper pod will be in a three pack. If so, I may end up troop building characters that aren’t grunts… Why couldn’t they have sold the Viper pod itself in stead of putting it in some dumb three pack?

It is exactly like the old one.
Only problem is the driver needs to literally be wedged in there because he has a diaper crotch and his knees cannot bend "straight up".

I thought they were supposed to be retooled for 25th anniversary? That’s no good! Oh well, I don’t own the originals anyway so I guess its still good.
Before the tanks came out I did try putting a 25th anniversary trooper inside of the Septic tank and the results weren’t very pleasant, too bad they couldn’t have retooled it.

RAM vs Viper Pod
Air Chariot vs Tank Thing
So you'll be stuck troop building RAMs, but at least you'll maintain a 1:1 ratio instead of 2:1.
