And the best way to fix alt prime (or nem alt prime as thats the one i have) is to drop something very heavy and pointy on it.
Repeatedly.
The thing is lame.
It is lame as Prime, and it would have been lame as Ironhide.
Lame

He tucks it in and kisses it goodnight every night before he goes to bed.
Either way, I don't own it, but I don't want it. It doesn't seem as good as the rest.

The shoulder pads could've been more like Mirages and I've never transformed one that didn't have flimsy knees, but the effort actually is there. Unfortunately, like most things today, shortcuts were taken to reduce their costs.
I think one thing that could've helped was adding some sort of sliding panel to the chest that would move up in alt mode under the doghouse to better hide the head. That and removing the seats from the underside of his forearms.

Jetfire? I cant see it.
Infact those shoulder things would make him more suitable as a seeker. But then again that'd be a stupid idea too.

CyberTooth wrote:Lame Prime, pretty awesome Hoist though. I admit I didn't like Prime all that much at first either, but after taking him apart and looking at the design, I think it was a pretty decent first attempt at recreating a truck.

I was thinking about Hoist as well. It would be a cool kitbash.

The head from BTA Broadcast would make a decent Ironhide. The Prime head can then be painted red and given to Broadcast to make Crosscut.
Personally I'm making a trailbreaker out of the spare Nemesis Prime I've bought with a Swindle head and reprolabels.

Sometimes I wonder if Broadblast was meant to be Ironhide because of the head similarities.
