HMW Bug Reporting Thread
Re: HMW Bug Reporting Thread
Looks like that one's querying the players table directly, rather than the hourly character score cache. I always forget about those occasional unlisted pages!

The glitch with ranks has been resolved. It should be working properly now. It is repopulated on the homepage.
The ranks error was preventing the forum and site sessions for users from being pruned and managed properly, which is what lead to the entire website being down earlier today. The database server ran out of disk space this morning with the latest database backup from the forum sessions database table growing out of control (causing the daily database backups to go from 1gb to 5gb per day).
I just spent the past 5.5 hours debugging and tracking down the problems and then it all lead to an error from HMW. Urgh. Regardless, lots of problems solved today and some new code implemented to hopefully prevent this from happening in the future.

Uh, I may have had a bit too much sherry this evening, but has the deactivate button disappeared on anyone else's registry?
I need to deactivate some crap troops and don't appear to be able to.

I took a quick whack at the weapons.php page as well just to give it a little more modern interface: https://www.seibertron.com/heavymetalwar/weapons.php

I didn't modify that page. I just verified that the deactivate button is working on the War Room page. Are you on a mobile device or laptop/computer?

It's a known bug that the deactivate button doesn't appear if the last bot in the Active list cannot be deactivated because they're busy (in a mission etc), even if other bots are Active but idle and could be deactivated.
I have a workaround similar to the (now fixed) CR bug, which would add the Submit button back onto the form - I'll write it up.
--EDIT---
Example here:

First time I've seen the mission log generated correctly, but with my 'bot going from 100 to 0 in a single hit in a multi-target strafe.

Re: HMW Bug Reporting Thread
Yeah, definitely looks like you started the battle on <20% judging by the rest of Super Sonicon's strafes, presumably from the usual bug - see also Strike-Eagle, who apparently started on 0% and never made or suffered any attacks.
Kind of odd that only those two look like they entered on <100% honestly! I'd have expected more if it was doing the "run the battle twice" thing.

That's what threw me for a loop, yeah. Normally you have this happen, not the Bug Gods going "[blank] you" in particular. xD
