in your Con universe, adopting must have a fecked up meaning since most of my bots are L2 now and I'm doing just fine since i don't drop every point in speed/avoid.
Burn trying to prove he's better and busting the myth all in one post? priceless.
You're not really paying attention to his point. Avoid works at low levels. 2 is when it stops being effective, especially at the higher end of 2. It becomes a useless tactic.
As I said. Next time you have a thought, let it go.

you seem to be into killing bricks.
Right now there's no L2 only or L2 and higher environment so the whole point is moot. that and i don't think there is one L2 bot out there that's still pumping everything into speed/avoid.

Dunno. But again, Burn's not saying it's not effective at the momment, he's saying down the road. Level 3, if memory serves can be reached around 400k if not before. That means anything over 200k is a high end bot and no longer needs to worry about avoid, and ram becomes the dominate tactic.

Let it go AZ. Some people just simply will not accept the knowledge of others.

I tend to be arguementative. I have a hard time letting things go. I blame my bloodline. Irish and German with Scottish and English sprinkled in.

Let me rephrase this. I'm a Irish-German-English-Scottish person who doesn't drink every day. Or even every week. That's what's wrong with me.

i'll just put this out here, your avoid rate is fairly consistant, so if you die in a 6v1 your not more likely to perform a greater number of avoids than if you die in a 6v6

Would drinking improve the avoid rate? Drunken-Mechanic style?

God bless the lot of you for trying to argue with these Bots...
Just reading this thread is painfully frustrating, can't imagine actually participating... come to think of it that's why I quit this forum to begin with.
The opinions expressed in this post are well-reasoned and insightful.
Needless to say, they are not those of SEIBERTRON.COM, its staff members, or any other site lackeys.
Anyone who says otherwise is itching for a fight.

Finally someone says something that makes sense...
I'm a 'Bot but the in-fighting here almost makes me ashamed to be so... Perhaps it explains why the 'Bot win percentage is still ruefully low, and I keep on having to kick my 'Bots to CR, even when I am the highest scoring team member.
I'm so meta, even this acronym

Indeed. And seeing as Blurrz loves the arena so much it seems he has absoloutely no regard for any of his fellow faction members.
Just in case people have forgotten, this game isn't just about personal glory, it's working with your fellow faction members to achieve overall victory.
No wonder Autobots keep losing ...

Put your name on the list for "I want to change factions" with Tammuz. Trust me. The only thing you'll miss is the alt modes.

Go search for your own posts. You're the one arguing with Wheelimus and saying you wanted him to be banned. Again, next time you have a thought, let it go. Please for the love of god just let it go.

That Autobot programming each of them gets really could use some tweaking here and there it seems.
On older topic the age of avoiders be seeing the end soon once the 2s and soon to be 3s start reconfiguring to more offensive forms. Then it be either adapt and survive or fall.

see that's one advantage of being a con with shedload of outnumbered maximal missions, you have to start using offensive setups.

Avoid builds are not cutting it anymore - not if you want wins. Each fighter has to do some good damage anymore to come out with decent XP.

Ive started finding courage ot be of use. Dreadspawn had a reasonably solid avoider build, but he wasnt gettign much success at lvl 2, then I gaveh im some courage and that made all the difference.
And for the record, there's still a good level or two more to go as far as milking avoiding, although we are startign to enter the xp range where avoid is no longer the be all and end all of HMW.
