Ryan has a very long list of priorities to get the site restored on the new server, HMW is at the bottom for now.

So you can either check back in a couple of days (If I get updates I'll pass them on) or just throw a couple of bots into battle now and then and check for yourself. (We won't be reimbursing you for your CR Chamber costs though :-P

Well, no. Thing is, I lost my old account. I can't remember my old username and the email account it was linked to is dead too.

I used to play HMW a lot here, back when I was in college... so about 12 years ago? I found the bookmark in my old PC when I went back home and... boy did it bring back memories.

So I'm posting here because this is the only thread that has seen any action in a long time, because I'd really like to know what happened. I read upthread that the game is basically shelved. Is that the case? I'd be sorry to read that. It was so much fun!

Uhm, anyway, to justify posting here, I've tried logging in at different hours over the past few days, and there never seem to be any missions. At all. Are those no longer active?

Wish they would fix the game. Really only reason I visit this site now. Tried playing a week or so ago and the unknowns kept killing. Doesn't look like there is a priority rush to fix. Waiting for Burn to give the go ahead to play. Would suggest subscribing to thread and looking for that and coming back when he does.

In my many years here (both away and active) I have to say Burn will do his best to keep this place alive and active. This game, however, isn't as much of a priority as a thorn in Ryan's side. When it runs its fine when it breaks... it is a hassle and with no active developer to maintain it or code new code for it, well....

I'm sure when there is news Burn or Ryan will post an update.

I'm having issues with missions. I register active bots, go to the missions page and it tells me it's added a new mission. Refresh the page and it tells me it's added a new mission. No missions ar shown there to select. Thought it was Chrome that was having issues, so I loaded up Firefox. Logged in, went to the missions page and there was a mission. Put my bot in. They got in and then it popped up with the 'added a new mission' text. Refresh, same thing.

It just keeps bringing up the same mission text without showing the missions available.

Hopefully that makes sense.

There's definitely a problem with EVERY page. I've alerted Ryan to it.

Seems like the game back to it's mostly normal self. Pressing F5 seems to just bring a new mission without requiring me to go Ctrl+F5.

I guess I've been really absent minded while sending my team into battle for the past week or so, but I just now noticed that all of my weapons have disappeared, both in storage and in use!

Some of them are rare enough I can't replace them either, like the dual-bladed lightsaber.

Has this ever happened before? WTF?!?!?!?
