BBG is definately something I wouldn't miss, but I think it would be a minor improvement at best. I don't think it really strains the server much at all (not compared to generating battle-logs for each mission and arena battle), especially since it gets used so little.

But let's see how the RAM upgrade goes for the next month or so. If it doesn't take, or S-tron decides he simply can't afford to keep the upgrade, we'll return to this issue.

For now though, I'm going to lock this topic. The alarmist title is somewhat misleading for casual browsers, and the topic itself has changed rails a few times and gotten a bit... cluttered. same thing has happened with the Arena-Down thread, which has essentially become the same conversation.

If someone has issue with this decision, they can PM me and I'll reconsider.

If someone wants to start a thread specifically about generating ideas to streamline HMW, then that would be fine. It would be nice to have the suggestions/ideas in a form that doesn't involve sifting through two different threads which each have the coherency of Bipolar Goldfish debating with Spastic Monkeys.
