Is there a way to change allegiances now? I know there was an opportunity before "The Flood" to change allegiances. I'm a Maximal right now but I'm hung up on the fact that we're quite outnumbered (or no one just shows up). It's hard to get XP when I go to missions and I'm outnumbered 6 to 1 (most of the time). Only way to get a fair chance at XP for me is at the arena. :-(

There's no way we on the staff can accomodate changes in faction at the minute, I'm afraid. The best way to avoid being outnumbered in missions is to get contact details for several of your fellow players and attempt to organise your play together.

Why don't you try organizing the Maximals that are on? I know there's a few that are active. PM some of them and see if they can't come into the boards and get organized. You're not in the smallest faction, just the least organized.

Speaking from experience, all it takes is one with a few good ideas to kick-start others into participation. Looking at Pred experience, you don't need full missions; you need 3-4 with compatible, good builds at level 1-2 (right now) and you'll get 1.5x base XP on average - which is far superior to the Arena in the long run.

Just (a) don't care about your win percentage and (b) take satisfaction in the grand spankings that occasionally come through, like these.
