Pft, I have no regrets, because I was drinking the magic kool-aid for my own means. Alpha Bravo is, and always will be the protagonist of a bioshock-y version of the transformers mythos in my headcanon, that's why he has no character.

What if Alpha Bravo is Slingshot? :-?

In all seriousness though seems people are mostly just annoyed he is a helicopter because as we see with the Stunticons Offroad does not get this hate.

His colouring is done in a way that pays homage to Slingshot even his build compared to his team members matches Slingshot's original toy. Take a look and you will see that the original Slingshot didn't have the broad shoulders look in the toy's robot mode unlike the other Aerialbots due to his transformation differing slightly. Bravo is still the slowest vehicle on the team like Slingshot but also capable of vertical landing and take off and as I always though such abilities made Slingshot the most manoeuvrable Alpha's mode ticks this box as well.

One of the things I love about the fandom is that we tend to repurpose figures to suit our collection from simply changing its name to body modification. So unless I get a Slingshot I'm quite happy with possibly repurposing Alpha as Slingshot.
