i LIKE that maths.

And there's nothing wrong with liking those maths. I am simply stating that I believe those maths to be bad for the game and, given that it currently seems to be a choice between a 1 rotation a month or 2, would rather have the quicker.

I have a lot of friends with S-tron accounts who would vote if I asked them to, but as they don't play HMW, that seems distinctly underhanded to me. :?

I must ask those who continue to vote for two weeks to please reconsider. For a long time I was only able to get on on weekends after I started my new job; had the rotator been working during this time two weeks would have been far to short a time and no doubt I would have missed out on manny alts.

If it really comes close between 2 and 4 weeks, couldn't it just be made to 3 weeks to put it in the middle of the two?

Honestly I think 4 weeks is to long.

I voted for 1 week, but now I wish I had voted for 3 or 2 weeks

It just seems better

If we tie (+/- 1), which it looks like we might, that would be the fair thing to do.

Which ever side wins by one vote will complain though.

And I still don't understand why there isn't a link to this poll on the main HMW page.

Exactly!
I've been chewed up and down on every decision I've made so far and now you all get to make one.
Whatever wins this poll is how it is going to be.
The people have spoken.

The answer is simple. I haven't put it there. :P
I'll do that tonight if I have time.

Do we really need posts like this? If you regret your decision, live with it. You should have thought about it and how it affects the game before you made the decision. You did after all have 10 days to decide.

I honestly thought more people would prefere a week. I voted for what I wanted.
Maybe I should have waited to see what the general concensus was, but I didnt.

So instead of making your own decision you prefer to be lead like sheep? That has been going on for far to long in this game. Our fates where held hostage by the whims of less than a handful of people. Now, for the first time that I can remember, there is actually a poll about what we as players prefer. Not a Wish list thread that builds up our hopes then gets ignored for three years. I have faith that OS will abide by what we decide in this matter.

But I guess letting others make the decision for you would give you somebody to blame if your preference lost.

Actually, I think it's b/c, even though 1 week was his ideal, he'd rather have 2 weeks than 4 weeks. He's simply regretting that he didn't vote strategically. Something else that's been going on far too much lately is people stretching reason to find ways to derrogate other players as mindless drones, yes men, or sheep. :?

Now, I thought of a compromise that I feel compelled to suggest - What if the rare alts rotated every 4 weeks, but the common alts rotated every 2 weeks?

Because instead of going for what you wanted you contemplated wating to see what everybody else was going to do. That way you wouldn't have to make a decision and could complain about it later when it would turn out wrong.

But you actually made a decision and went with it. Good for you. Here's a cookie.

But now that you are seeing that there is equal oposition to your oppinion you want to take it back. Heaven forbid you actually be on the wrong side of an issue. How would you maintain your illusion of supremacy and where-with-all?

Because we all know that people who only have the illusion of supremacy would lash out with

Sometimes you have to compromise to ensure that you dont get the exact oposite of what you want.

It's hardly the wrong side of the issue. I want the alt rotator to rotate as often as possible. My Opinion of the issue is I DONT WANT 4 weeks. Sometimes in life, you have to vote tactically got ensure you dont get the exact oposite of what you want.

And there is a BIG difference between illusions of supremacy, and finding you very annoying.

I think someone is onto something when they suggested maybe making the rotation based on Core, Common, & rare statis of the alt.
How about:
Core: Weekly rotation
Common: Bi-weekly rotation
Rare- Monthly rotation

It is, but I cant help but feel that waiting until there was a vote about the subject means its perhaps a little too late.

Redimus, im gonna agree with ya, i totally understand where you're coming from. though i voted for 4 weeks, i much rpefer 3 than 2. in America, your voting system is one or the other. not really a 3 horse race at all, whereas in Europe theres more of a choice. thats why we have proportional representation, who you want the most, and the least in a 1-6 box.

if nothing more is to be inferred from this post, i respect and understand your decision.
