I really like the figure, and I actually don't mind the mini-figure so much. She comes with a bambo steamer and sio pao for goodness sake! Sio pao, just like mom used to make!

Blimey. I wasn't sure I liked the pic, but having seen this, I'm converted. The fishing rod's a brilliant touch, although If they're using so many movie references, surely they should have designed a Daniel mini-figure (maybe one that transforms into a car, like in Rebirth)?
I love the visor too. Does anyone know if that's an add-on, or if it actually retracts? And the pipes that are in the bottom left pic?

Daniel transformed into a car in the movie, but I presume the suit he's wearing in the Rebirth only transforms into Arcee's head even though it looks exactly the same.

Also, judging from the picture, I'd say that the fishing rod just comes apart and connects to the side of Roddy's arm to create the visual effect of the pipes he had in pervious incarnations.

The website I saw this on I don't remember, but it did say the visor works. Not just a clip-on.
This is the repaint I have in the works, but mine won't look anything like this one. It took me a while to find Mirage in the store, but I finally did for 20 bucks. Woo hoo!

Oh I know. Especially when Mirage is only $20 and Primus is $45. Is Hasbro going to release any Rodimus/Hotrod Alt figure?

I think this line kinda sucks really. I hate how it comes with underaged over-sexualized girls and and rediculous story line. The guy that took over the Binal Tech line trashed the story line and made his own cliche anime bullcrap. I guess it would have been hard to keep up the story line, but I'd at least expect something more creative and less creepy.

And Hotrod could have still had the fishing rod and visor without the stupid girl. At least make them look legal.

I am really excited about the Kissplay Rodimus and was looking at the visor wondering, ok thats a cool little add on, but whats that about, THEN it hit me! remember in the movie when the 'bots shuttle was descending on earth and Daniel and Hot Rod noticed there was a hole in the side of the ship, Thus a VISOR came down on Hot Rod's head and he zoomed in to see it was full of 'Cons! Genius!!! Its the attention to the little details like that, and the fishing rod that are stellar. Speaking of the fishing rod, how long after this is released do you think someone will repro that rod/blaster so he can have matching blasters on each arm... Just my thoughts
