Got one ordered the middle of last week and got it on Friday. $60 from Amazon. They are showing as only having them available from "other sellers" right now, but they are listed for around the same price from the other sellers.

Anyway, I love it..! :grin:

Still waiting for a decent deal on this figure. Amazon is out but of course the resellers are running rampant.

Perhaps the re-sellers are only charging $59.99,to try to attempt to defeat the high scalping on this item.

still though,even if a amazon seller sold unicron for $59.99. the buyer will still have to pay $15 in shipping fees. as individual sellers have to pay the post office to ship out the item.

Related, but somewhat off-topic... I'm surprised we haven't seen any posts of people complaining about the quality of having items shipped from Amazon.com. Twice now I've received carded Transformers from the Amazon wharehouse where they bent the card over to squeeze the toy into a tiny little box. It makes me very reluctant to order more TFs from them.

hasbro messes up a lot with shipping too, esp. Star wars figs. Just for fun here's an example (probably USPS's fault though)

The first shipments of the rocket firing Boba Fett's came out horribly too - very thin boxes. They started to double box after everyone's fetts were mangled

Oh yes, the Fett Fiasco! Many suffered due to the stupidity.

A strange thing happened tonight. On one of my random checks on the Unicron page at Amazon, it showed as IN STOCK and only ONE left!

I ordered that sucker.

With buying from individual sellers you still pay separate shipping. Usually the shipping costs don't show up right away as the seller has to calculate that after they get your order.

Also I am a Prime member so I don't pay anything for shipping from Amazon. Just the once a year fee for that membership. Totally worth it if you buy a lot from there like I do.

As for the packaging...my Unicron came packed nicely in a much bigger box all by his lonesome. His plastic box came out perfectly fine.

Hasbro toy shop.com Bent my Generations dirge blister card in half in order to squeeze the toy into a super tiny square box. Luckily I was able to find another generations dirge in stores in perfect collectors condition,then buy it,then return the one Hasbro sent me to the retail store.

I'm sure Hasbro's CS would've sent you another Dirge if you asked them. You probably would have to send the other one back, but I'm sure they would've done that for you.

They did use terribly thin cardboard for the first wave of Fetts though. They might as well used balsa wood at the rate they were goin

Who's to say I do this HTS.COM dirge return. then another hasbro employee bends another dirge in half. no thanks.

i highly doubt that same mistake would be committed twice. Just throwin out the option, besides getting your $ back. Maybe they figured u wanted an opener? Lol!
