Lookin' good...have you planned out your display area for your MPs yet?

Nice to see the collection developing!
I just got my MP-11SW last week, but I didn't shoot any photos.

Thanks, Skywarp may well be my next purchase, either that or MP-22.

Can't go wrong with either, but when I was faced with the choice it had to be Ultra Magnus.

Nice haul LL!
I see you got the version of WJ with is blue "purse" lol...how is that lil mind control inhibitor thing? Does it do anything or just carried.
How is QW? What are your thoughts? I am awaiting mine to get here (stupid US customs)and will live vicariously through you until then

Yeah I got the control inhibitor by chance really, I just ordered the cheapest Jacky I could find on ebay amd he happens to come with it. It's nice and all but it does nothing, I don't think it'll get used much TBH.
Quakewave is a fine figure, he is everything you should expect from a MP figure, in that he feels like a official MP, that said I'm glad I got him for the price I did (£200 or $300 if you prefer) because as good as he is he's not $1000 good, he's a good solid MP figure but not worth breaking the bank over. Where did you get yours and (dare I ask) how much did you pay?

Re: And so it begins!
I love Wheeljack, he is a great figure...although I do recommend the Dr. Wu upgrade for the ear replacement, of course then you will have the original full older face that is under his mask that you'll have to store...but I think it makes him look good. I have been wondering why a full face is under that mask in first place???
As for QW I found I was (gasp) bidding for one on Ebay for 399 MISB...which is high (4 bills was my limit)...but not as high as I have seen it go for. All the others are going for 450+ to the 1k mark (1k is just stupid...).

I don't tend towards envy, but I will have to live vicariously through you guys on the QW. I just can't justify the 300+. It was hard enough doing 200 for Skywarp, although I was fine with that for Magnus...

Like I said, he's a great figure and I think if you can get him for $300 then go for it, I cant see him going for any less than that anywhere, however anything over that and you heading towards Ripoffsville.

Thats pretty good for MISB! Mine was opened and the instructions were missing, but the seller stated that he had never been transformed and just plonked on display, so basically good as new, I'll get some decent photos up in the next few days.

Damn this is a fine figure! I honestly cannot see anyone (Takara included) ever improving on this guy, he's sturdy and well built, all the joints are tight and everything about the figure screams quality, so pleased I was able to snag him for a reasonable price.

He can pull of some pretty good one footed poses!

Hmmm, I wasn't as pleased with this guy as much as I thought I would be, don't get me wrong he's a good figure and he looks great in both modes, but for me some the transformation is just a little tool finicky (the back portion especially so) the end justifies the the means though as ones everything is in place he looks superb, he also has excellent balance allowing for some impressive one legged poses.

I'm not sure if takara could even do a shockwave if they wanted, that wasn't an original mold of theirs so they would have to come up with an alternative.

I've heard that before, pretty much the reason why I went all out for QW, ditto with X Transbots Apollyon and quite possibly Fans Toys Spotter. I'd be very surprised if any of those get a Takara alternative.

Well it's been a while, but rest assured I haven't stopped yet, decided to break my "no repeat molds" rule mainly because I'm a sucker for seekers.

As glad as I am to have this bad boy in my collection, a part of me is a little disappointed, considering its an Aisa a exclusive I would have expected better QC, mine came with what appear to be glue smudges just under the cockpit area ( no biggie as it's an area that's obscured in both mode, but it's there all the same) and his hands were misassembled! Basically the fingers were put on the wrong way round which caused them to fly across the room during the initial posing for the photos, fortunately I was able to find them but the misassembly has caused some small stress marks on the hands which is annoying. Anyway all considered he is still a great figure and looks soooo good stood with Starscream now I just need Takara to release a Thundercraker.

Get Hasbro's TC, that's actually my favorite version of the mold. And don't be too annoyed by the stress marks, they would be there even if you hadn't pulled the fingers out and reassembled the hands. All of my MP Seekers have stress marks on the hands just from, well existing I guess. So yeah, they would have eventually shown up.

Agreed on both counts. I know LL says he isn't down on Hasbro, but there is no reason to pass up Hasbro's Thundercracker other than outright hope for a Takara one after all this time.
For myself, I just got Smokescreen in the mail. I'm gonna have to start a flckr account.

I would get Hasbros if I could find him anywhere near retail, unfortunately I can't find him for under £150, which is Takara money, now you can bet as soon as I drop £150 on the Hasbro one the Takara one will be announced, I'll bide my time, if I find a Hasbro one worth picking up I will if not I'm pretty confident that Takara will bring one out soon enough.

Not sure if you see it where you are but he is on Amazon for $195.00 or £130.00...still leaves 20.00 left iver for shipping.

Thanks for the heads up Donny, but still a bit too rich for me, I payed that for Skywarp. I'll wait it out for now.

That's just a bit more than what I payed back then.
But, he was one of the few TFs I over-payed for that I did not feel guilty over. Sure his packaging looks like that of a KO, and it's just a Hasbro figure, but he actually feels better made than both Starscream and Skywarp.
Maybe check out AutoAssembly, one of the dealers might have one for a decent price.
I also wanted to wait for a Tak version, but got scared and just pulled the trigger anyway, figuring I could just sell it should a Tak version come out, now I don't really want to get rid of him XD.

Yeah, things have slowed down quite a bit Donny, mainly because I'm running out of figures to sell

Yeah, things have slowed down quite a bit Donny, mainly because I'm running out of figures to sell. Apollyon and MP-10 are on pre order and I've currently got my eye on a couple of MP-09's on Ebay.
MP 09 with or with out the "winnebego"? I might also suggest getting a pair of those die cast knees for him...just in case.
Ooh what about your mp 13 did you get all of the other cassettes yet, don't recall seeing them in here...
I was gonna insert something inappropriate About selling other "items" when you run out of figures...but then I thought better of it.
