I doubt very much they'd have english subs, but you never know... Some Gonzo series have been broadcast with pretty decent subs, so in the future all japanese releases might come with subtitles. That would be a dream come true.

My copy of DVD 1 will be here in about four days, so I'll know for sure if there are subs or not. But the best thing about subs these days is we can take the subtitles from the MKV of the TV rips and re-time them for the DVDs.

You can pick them up at various places, the best places are Chara-Ani and Amazon.

I'm sure you'll have second thoughts about buying them once you see the prices though. It may be a better idea to hope for a stateside release unless you don't mind paying $50+ per DVD.

As for the manga, they have up to chapter 26 at OneManga, which is where I've been reading them. I don't know if any others have been translated elsewhere, as I haven't had time to look.

Sailor Moon Episode 52 (Episode where the senshi first see the doom tree)

This episode was Meh. I don't get why Darien wants Ann insted of Usagi. I would go for the cute blonde over the crazy stalker any day. This was an entire episode of Sailor Moon, but it didn't have Sailor Moon in it! (The person in the costume at the theme park doesn't count) at least it had Usagi, but not enough Mako.

I give this episode ☆☆☆☆ 1/4 out of ☆☆☆☆☆

If they were nice enough to include subs for us stupid english speaking types-the price doesn't scare me. Although i'm not sure i can justify it if they don't.

Yeah onemanga is where i've been reading them. But because i like them i feel i should pick up the hardcopies-which i see i can do at amazon.co.jp. I've never purchased anything in another currency though so i'm not sure how to go about doing that.

Entropy was scanulating them and i believe that is where they are from on onemanga. Unfortunately, according to their website it says they dropped the project...hopefully the anime will have peaked enough interest that they will resume.

I have a question. Did they ever make a Sailor Moon Christmas special? if so, can you post a link to where I can watch it?

As for buying things in another currency, it's really easy. Just sign up your credit card like you would on the regular Amazon and the rest is all automatic. The only thing you really need to do is use a currency converter like xe.com to check the rough amount you'll be paying.

It's always a little more because of the reduced exchange rate your bank/credit card company will offer you.

Although I was never a big DBZ fan, I used to watch it when it was on Toonami. Typical super sentai anime. Classic though. I may see the new movie, but I most likely wont. The Vegeta OVER 9000 Internet meme cracks me up every time.

There are Christmas specials for at least R, S, and SS. That said they were short movies released to theaters for Christmas time, along with other features.

R features another Makaiju called Fiore, who had previously met Mamoru shortly after the death of his parents. More of a long-play winter episode than a Christmas episode.

S is the closest to being a Christmas episode, tied into The Japanese legend of Princess Snow Kaguya. It is also an extended love story for Luna, even featuring her human form.

Supers is a modified tale of the Pied Piper, styled around the same feel as the Dark Circus. In a strange twist, an earlier draft of this one was eventually used as the source material for Revolutionary Girl Utena.

Favorite DBZ character: Ginyu and Tien, they were friggin awesome.

They formed the Z fighters just before or as Boo showed up I think. And were a different team then that from the beginning, as a few died or left and a few new guys entering the series.

I think DB GT was sh*t no contest to DB and DBZ with DB being my favourite of the shows.

I liked Goku a lot better as he was a kid then when he was grown up, although I just love the episode in which Goku and Piccolo take driving lessons.

I just love how they keep on ramming each other!

Sailor Moon: Chibiusa's first episode.

Funny episode. In the begining of the episode there was a long Make-out scene. eww. I love Chibiusa. I don't know how she got Usagi's parents to belive she was Usagi's cousin. Another thing, Chibiusa apeared when Usagi took a bath, and she went inside of her shirt while she was sleeping. Makes you wonder. This episode didn't have enough Mako. They rarely have enough Mako.

All in all, great episode ☆☆☆☆☆ out of ☆☆☆☆☆

I was actually re-watching the Cell games the other day, and at one point they were called the Earth's Special Forces, and then the Z Fighters a little later. Anybody remember what they were called in the Japanese version?

I also enjoy the outrageous battles of DBZ but I don't know why but somehow the overall flare of DB appeals to me more then DBZ.

Promo trailers are out for next year's Anime. It looks like there's going to be a lot of awesome stuff out again this time around.

Including but not limited to Slayers ER, and the new Full Metal Alchemist. There's loads of other great looking stuff, I suggest checking the promos out yourself if you have a spare half hour.

No sign of a Tokusen 4 OAV yet, but it's looking more and more likely. =D

Sailor Moon R episode 55 review

Decent episode. I can't belive Darien broke up with Usagi. She's pretty, blonde, and nice. He was a Pedophile anyways. I mean, seriously, He's 21, and Usagi is 14. eww. The gray haired lady who told the monster to run the shop sounds like Paula Deen Mako only had one line this whole episode, and didn't even Transform.
