Anime/Manga General Discussion, Rants & Rambling

Kare Kano is pretty good, but it seems like the story suffers from the post Neon Genesis period.
Fumoffu was frikkin hilarious! The rugby episode had me laughing hard.
Also, I'm working on 3 new figures. Alucard and Alexander Anderson from Hellsing and Deunan Knute from Appleseed.

YuYu Hakusho is actually really good. It IS pretty long, though, but not to the extent of, say, DBZ.

Good like action and story? And bonus if it has elements of humor.

I liked it. The show has four tournement arcs the first is the Genki tournement followed by the hang neck island tournement, the Demon world Tournement is the last arc. Mind you there's several other arcs The first arc covers the fact the primary character is dead! He gets revived at the end of the arc (Thankfully no one has to good looking for any plot device to revive him mind the main character plays a great snow white lol...) and action begins!
I know I'm gonna get hurt for snow white comment...

All of the above. And there's four arcs; Spirit Detective, Dark Tournament, Chapter Black, and Saga of the Three Kings.

I really hope this doesn't suck.
I would love to see the combat boomers and Largo, maybe even super Largo.
But I'm not going to hold my breath.

When Vincent Sinclair got a nosebleed from Seeing Karin's chest, I almost died laughing. He bled more than Karin does.
Also, the opening songs is one of the better anime openings I've heard. It's one of the few times I actually looked up a song from an anime.

It's kind of disturbing seeing Wolfram yelling at people not to touch Yuri and that he needs to stop flirting with everyone. Seems like it borders on being overprotective and somewhat abusive.

I bought the Part 1 and 2 DVD set thinking it was an epic horror story, at least that's what the summery on the back lead me think to believe.
I think it's awesome and the characters are actually pretty good you know for being an erotica, a disdurbing and disgusting erotica.
Well I just finished watching all there's available of Afro Samurai online. I originally intended to watch just the first episode to see if I liked it and should buy the DVD I ended up watching the whole damn show including the movie in one go that's how bad ass and awesome that show is damn I can't wait to buy the DVDs!
I wish Elfen Lied would be continued.

While the trailer (And I've so far only seen the trailer) seems to only be half-faithful to the play, the idea of an anime adaptation of Shakespeare is pretty interesting.

There was a live show that I'm hoping to get a CD/DVD of, and there's currently a material exhibition going on at the ufotable cafe, which is showcasing source materials like scripts, design sketches, as well as all the merchandise that's been released for the series. They have coasters of various new pieces of Ga-Rei art, including one of Natsuki which I've just purchased for my collection.

Love it.

I've just been nominated to be the chairman for an anime convention next year with about 5000 attendees. Would anyone like to just shoot me now?
