Bit of a drive is an understatment. That's almost 3 hours away.

Seattle to Marysville is about an hour. However it is 3 hours some days in our lovely traffic

Heck the Target I go to just put out the epreview figures last week. And this week they expanded the section back to six rows from the two they had it at for the last month.

Still can't bring myself to go look in Wal-mart.

I stopped at the Target and Walmart down at the Quarry Mall in Countryside, IL

The Target had only Protoforms available but there was a whole empty bracket labeled (TF Movie Deluxe $9.99) Now either it was still for the protoforms, or it was for the movie figures, but someone already grabbed them

Also Target has a Movie Autobot Logo shirt on sale, looks pretty sweet.

As for the Walmart, they had the giant TF display thing suspended from the ceiling (Prime and Barricade next to the TF Movie Logo), but underneath, only Classics and Cybertron. Only on a seperate bin somewhere by the toy aisle was a giant pile of Protoforms

Just sea after endless sea of endcaps containing protoforms at TRU, WM and Target that noone in their right mind would buy.

I already made that mistake.

Learn from YouFearGalvatron and be happy is the moral of this story.

Just say NO to protoforms, kids.

Thanks for the heads up BumbleB. Have to admit though, I can't afford the gas to go up to Marysville to snag that figure. When it comes to the TF hunt I just have to draw the line for some distances. And since I actually live in Renton, Marysville is way past where I draw the line for how far I'm willing to drive. How do you like the figure by the way? Is Leader class Prime as awsome as he looks?

This is so weird I called K-mart and the guy said they only had two protoforms and he said the date is June 2nd for the others.

I gave up on stores last night; I bought an OP figure off eBay. No more driving around wasting time and gas; especially at $3.50+/gallon.

I found deluxe Jazz and Bumblebee at Target in Appleton, WI today. I didn't realize this before, but they are in the "Movie preview figures" packaging just like the protoforms. In fact, they were mixed in with the protoforms. There was one BB left.

Amen! With gas prices around Seattle,WA being $3.70+ /gallon I am just going to patiently wait until after 6/2/07 to pick up the few movie figures I want. Plus none of the stores in my area are carrying the wave 1 movie figures except for protoform piles of slag anyways.

Hell, I've got a Father's day coming up for myself. Maybe I can sweet talk my family into giving me some TF movie love for Father's day.

Aww crap, I finally broke down and order Bonecrusher and Jazz. I figured since those are the only two figures I plan to get from the entire line that I'll order them.

(Will get the bigger BC and toss the midget when the bigger BC hits shelves.)

Let's see, Within the past week I have visited

5 wal Marts
2 targets
2 TRU's
2 Kmarts

The only place I found any TF movie figs within the past week has been Kmart and they would not sell anything. It had a price when scanned BUT when it hit the register it came up "NO SALE BEFORE PREDATE".

I talked to managers at all the other stores (most of which I am friendly with, and normally get them to pull things for me) and none of them had any knowledge of any movie TF's being released early above and beyond the preview figs.

A few of the stores actually had them in the stockroom, but they would not bring them to the floor.

So was that "deluxe figs released early" story just bunk?
After hitting all those stores and getting nowhere (and reading the replies here) I do not believe that anything except the protoforms have been "officially" released.

I'll go with that reasoning.

I have gone too:

1 target in delaware
2 Toys r us in my area
1 target in my area
1 walmart in my area
3 about an 1 or more away from me
1 target and hr away from me
1 toys r us an hr away from me

and I found:

In my region (by that, I mean 30 miles tops) there are:

4 K-Marts
10 Wal-Marts
3 KBs
2 Targets
2 TRUs

All I've found is one Jazz, and the rest were Protoforms. The rest of Jazz's case sold out in a day.

I ended up having to order from Amazon to get Bonecrusher and Brawl.

Now, my closest Wal-Mart has pretty much all of the figure classes (including Deluxes) but they're all locked out...except:

BigRig Blaster, Starscream's Blaster (which sold out completely), Cyberslammers, Protoforms.

It's nice knowing I'll have stuff to buy on the 2nd, instead of having to scramble like crazy looking all over for them, but it's just the idea..ya know?

BTW...anyone who's ordered from Amazon...I paid for standard shipping, and they said it was mailed on the 20th (which was Sunday) and it hasn't updated. Are they usually fast in your experience??

He is pretty awesome, great robot mode. I have to admit though that Ironhide and Blackout are my favorite figures that I have so far. Renton is for sure too far to come!

I got Ironhide from Amazon and I picked up Blackout at Fred Meyer with Prime. It was my lucky day!
