Arcee? I would totally hit that. I have no idea why. At all. But I think she's hot.

Blackarachnia never really did it for me, nor did Airrazor.

I know this thread should slightly freak me out but seeing who all has posted in here and some of the comments instead made me crack up.

In Transformer world: Elita one, arcee, Thunder Blast were hot, and BM Blackarachnia was ok, but didn't really like Blackarachnia in BW.

Cartoon World: Jessica Rabbit, is the hottest I can of think of now, just look at my avatar,

Real world: Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Rose Mcgowan, Dita Von Tesse, etc

Well those are my votes for ladies.

Now for guys

Transformer world: Prime, Ironhide, Starscream, Megatron, BW Megatron, Armada Starscream, etc.

Cartoon World: Voltron's Lotor, Keith, ...can think of anyone else..

Real world: The boys in the movie The Covenant, The one that flys and his brother, the painter, on Heroes,...sorry I'm bad with names. Christian Bale, I can remember.

And your opinion of Elita-One/Ariel? Not that she's better than Arcee but which form of Prime/Orion's "Main Cog" do you prefer?

I guess Arcee is pretty much the only one besides maybe Black Arachnia that I liked. Although some of the other girls had cool vehicular modes.

I was never really into Arcee especially because of the whole maternal role that they put her in with Daniel and (in Japan tv) Wheelie.

Elita-One is good for the damsel in distress and, of course, there is always Blackarachnia, who is to female TFs as Kimberly is to female rangers.

I thought this site was more about TFs than the subject of this topic.

Arcee, Black Arachnia, and apparently Airrazor have a lot of fans. Black Arachnia has 2 very good toy incarnations in Transmetal 2 form and in my opinion Beast Machines. I was never a huge follower of Airrazor but her toys were pretty good all things considered. Sadly Arcee never got the toy treatment she deserves, although her cartoon image was one of the best representations of a femme bot.

The point in this thread is to get some kind of feel for what fans think of the lesser represented female characters in this line versus that of other cartoons such as GI Joe. That and to have a sense of humor.

Definitely Airazor, although Moonracer has it going in all the right places, and I like tall women, it's just anyone 20 feet tall becomes a bother. Blackarachnia was good, but i couldn't get past the claw hands.

Now Optimus Primal knew Airazor had it going on. Check her out in this frame from an episode.

You know, the tag-line "Robots in Disguise" has bothered me for a long time.

They aren't robots. They're living sentient creatures - made of metal, plastic, and software maybe, but living none the less.

True, that doesn't necessarily mean that they reproduce sexually, and even if they did the act and equipment involved would certainly be alien to us, but the "they're robots" argument which invariably comes up regarding a half dozen or so different topics just annoys me. It feels like it just misses the point of Transformers.

That and the fact that in G1 there were times that some love/lust was shown by the Autobots and Decepticons alike...i.e. Seaspray and Powerglide each had an episode where they fell in love. Powerglide fell in love with a human girl. The Decepticon Octane was viewing centerfolds of femme transformers during the episode where he betrays Galvatron. And Arcee in the movie at least seemed to show some interest in Hot Rod.

Beast Wars/Machines was FULL of that sort of thing especially in the case of Black Arachnia. So at least some sexual interest seemed to exist even in the Transformers.

TM Airazor and Thunderblast seem to have similer robot forms if you look close enough.

And here's my own little fembot ( femaxinal techically ) I made in 2001, Cherrybomb.

These 2 are rough sketches I made in 2002, they are a bit crude, but I I had a busted finger on my drawing hand when I was drawing, so using middle finger and thumb to hold a pencil was quite a learning experience.
