G1 Tracks and Jetfire's "3rd" alt mode is more like the beast wars transmetals. Minimun alteration so it can funtion as the new type without a complete change. That being said I have no problem with transmetals being triple changers mechanically speaking for this game. As was mentioned earlier in this thread there are alot of TFs that could be considered a triple changer depending on how you define them. Heck, members of combiner teams could be considered triple changers, if you could the shift for the combining.

Original Sin is right. Hasbro bought the Valkyrie jet mold (Jetfire) from Bandai but used an all new design in the cartoon (Skyfire) so bandai couldn't get free advertising from Hasbro.

I didn't this this deserved another thread:

But if you guys actually decide to giive autobots/decepticons Tripplechangers and maximals/predicons Transmetals

then you might want to add Sixchangers for bots/cons and Transmetal2s as its mals/pcons equivalent,
as some sort of special reward for somthing.

Well, BW did have one multichanger - Optimal Optimus (albeit he was only a quad-changer) - So I'd assume that the Maximals and Predacons will just get multichangers like the bots and cons.

I don't know how you could do Transmetal IIs without modeling special-abilities. Drastically reduced tactic costs?

Edit: I was thinking, to keep the game balanced, I think the best way to do Transmetal IIs would be to have their tactics be very cheap, but require high stats to unlock them. They'd be an alt that is particularly skewed towards the upper levels.

If we wanted to be accurate, the special thing about them would be that you could raise their stat points by tenths, but I don't think the game could handle that. :lol:
