Because of your comment, without further ado...

There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of transformers OS allows to live.

The leading causes of death on Cybertron are: 1. lack of energon 2. OS 3. War

OS is the reason why Waldo is hiding.

OS gave Mona Lisa that smile.

OS and Mr. T walked into a bar. The bar was instantly destroyed, as that level of awesome cannot be contained in one building.

I think thats a good start.

What does Star Wars and Chuck Norris have in common?

Both have a lot of stupid jokes and parodies about them and Ray Park.

Ray Park=Darth Maul and he's playing Chuck Norris on "The Legend of Bruce Lee"

On the plus side - this is a great way to deal with level bullies. Well done.

However, it does remove the ability to utilise "Level 0 Energon Generators" - I have three that I can wheel out when I need them, and one of them will be tagged by this upgrade, becoming level 1. I will now have no way to recreate 3 level 0 characters, as I've got 12 characters already.

Some time ago, when the "delete character" option was discussed, the primary counter-argument was that there was no point; you could just reset the character and start afresh.

However, this option no longer exists, so right now, I could REALLY use a "delete character" option, to get rid of my 61K XP chracter who will now be of little use to me, and replace him with an all-new level 0 with 0XP.

Thoughts?

Easy solution - Energon donations.

Bigger solution - Still putting an idea together.

I believe Burn has it right. OS did state that the energon donation system would be a big factor in v2.

So one question, is the forced leveling based on spent or total exp? If it is on spent ,then the free at lvl 0 CR thing isn't an issue, just don't spend enough exp to be forced into the higher level. However it is a slight issue (the only time I have ever had any energon problems myself was right after the minicons hit and early when I was buying weapons for all my team members ,but I remember it being said that the free CR would be going away anyway.

Sorry if this has been posted already but I'm leaving for a wedding in a bit so I don't have time to go through the pages of this post. One thing I would like taken into consideration is action masters. They are harder to level up as it is since we don't use tactics and this will put them at an even larger disadvantage as now they will be forced into higher levels with much lower stats compared to their opponents. Can the new code look through the database for the tape alt or no alt specifically and rank them differently or is this too code intensive or something? I know the level amounts were run for characters with alt modes but there are a few of us who wanted to see what we could do with basic stats only.
Thanks.

Not too sure if I understand here. You're only forced into a higher level if you have a certain amount of experience. Regardless of your alt mode, you'll still have that experience; so surely, you can spend it on stats rather than tactics?

So in effect, an Action Master with 60k experience will actually have a higher number of stats than a tank mode alt because the tank mode alt has most likely spent his on Ram as well?

The only issue is unspent XP, which is what I'm looking at very closely (as I have a level 0 with 4 stat increases, but 60k Experience, mostly unspent, who'll get forced into level 1 here).

Yes and no. the tank's Ram is cheaper to up than trying to up another point in STR. It may cost you 25,000 to up Str, or for a tank it may only be 8,000. then 16000, giving you more points tyhan the Actionmaster.

Call it me OS, but IF the costs were constant across the borad for upping stats, whould it not eliminate the need for massive XP variables for levels.
Example:
1st upgrade 1000
2= 2000
3= 4000
etc., BUT also include tactics in this. The new Bot mode bonuses might be a problem with it, but I am SURE you can work something out. :P
If tactics are included then it is alot easier to set up a simplier system.
It is a old arguement & a simple solution idea that has been kicked around forever.

I'm all for the new restrictions when it comes to levelling. I'd even argue as well that they are too generous in some areas, but at least there won't be another "stanformers" experience.
