@ Overcracker.....that particular version of that mold is great looking indeed! A total homage to G1 Prime. Though I have a complete dislike for the majority of movie TF this is a great figure/mold!

I got my hands on the figure from the Grimlock set and got the figure that had the flames and swapped head....pure greatness...'nuff said!

The one in the Grimlock set is the regular Voyager Class Prime. While the original voyager mold still quite good, its no match for this one.

Takara’s Legendary version blows the voyager mold of the water. It is not only much larger, but also has a few improvements, like articulated hands, small improvements to transformation and a face swap gimmick. . I also own the original with the flame deco but this is like 10 times better.

Gotta love that Evolution of Optimus Prime set, not only did it come with the Flame Deco version of Evasion Optimus, but also the Shiny Pants version of Classics Optimus, that mold's last retail hurrah if i remember right

Yes. Its a really great set. and yes, I think that was the last time we saw Classics Prime. With the shiny legs and yellow eyes.

No gold plastic. Silver chrome legs as seen in the picture posted by grimdragon. No chipping on mine. The legs don’t rub against anything so no real risk of chipping.

I would have gotten that Takara version but the flaw for me is the solid blue from the knees down. I feel they should have broken up that blue like they did with his counterpart to the right...IMO.

Yeah that is the best movie Prime IMO with a great look and paint apps. And as I said what made this Prime even greater was swapping heads with the one in the Grimlock 2pk.

But... how? The heads are entirely different sizes. You would end up with a pinheaded Prime on Legendary? Or a huge head-on the Prime from the Grimlock set if you could do that.

My point is that in your post you mentioned the Prime from the Grimlock set but then didn't recognize the chromed figure from that set in the same post. They posted the picture because its the figure they were taking about swapping heads with.
