See, I would like to link vids with the pics that I post, but then I'd just feel like a bad rip-off, that and my pictures aren't as good as yours! Nicely done!
Caelus wrote:How do people feel about the Tamashii Effect stuff? It always looks cool, but Transformers don't have the articulation of the figures they're meant to go with, and are generally bigger than those figures. I figure if anyone has experience with them, it'd be the people posting in this thread.
Normally I wouldn't consider spending much money on that sort of thing (since I have no job) but I've sort of made a deal with my wife that if I'm going to start selling off parts of my collection, the only thing I'm going to spend the money on is adding things to my collection. So far it's been enough to cover a MP SG Optimus, a Salmoore, and a preorder for the PotP Deluxe Wave 2. Now I'm debating whether to save the rest of the money I make this spring to get a MP-36 Megatron; its kind of hard to imagine I can make another $170.01 off of sales this spring, but I might. Even if I can afford MP Megatron, should I splurge for him, or spend the money on a lot of smaller things like Heroclix or the Tamashii Effects? {Or actually start building a suit of Mandalorian armor, which I'm seriously considering.}

One of my close friends used to build Star Wars armor suits and the scale of cost you're talking about is in the thousands, not really the hundreds, so ymmv.
As for the parts...I like them but I like to do a lot of lightbox photography.
You can be really creative with the parts, it just takes a bit of planning because as you said, they're not keyed specifically for Transformers.
[AWESOME PICS]
