And, in me related news, I picked up Broadside yesterday. Now Springer and Sandstorm can finally have their trio be complete.
I was pleasantly surprised that Broadside's jet mode, while definitely far from the most fantastic Transformers jet ever, looks better in person then it does in photographs. (Of course, I say this in a thread dedicated to photographs!)
I know there's a fan-mode out there that flattens out his back end, but oddly enough I think that fan-mode looks better in photographs than it does in person! Darned if you do, darned if you don't, I suppose.
Meanwhile, one of these things is not like the other:
I need to pick up his Reprolabels set one of these days. The stock stickers are a joke. Otherwise, I am more pleased with this toy than I thought I would be, and it is nice to have these three together. And nice to have a Broadside again! He was the one Autobot triple-changer I had as a kid, so I have fond memories of him.
