Prime Soundwave is so great, I'm really glad I was able to pick one up.

Now if only I could get ahold of WfC Soundwave, I'd be happy. Perhaps I'll luck out and Hasbro will repackage him (again) in the FoC line, eh?

wow, thanks! I might have to sneak some of these onto my A3 work printer, hope the boss doesn't see me! I have recouloured them to match the Autobot HQ colurs as well, would anyone be interested in them? I can host them somewhere if so.

I finally go around to renovating a perfect G1 Trypticon from three separate lesser Trypticons in various states of completeness and discoloration. To really make him pop, I stickered him up with the Reprolabels X15 upgrade set.

It also gave me a very good reason to break out the Takara Smallest Transforming Decepticons:

DAMMIT. That is a great upgrade stickerset. Never in a million year am I going to put my Trypticon through this, but DAMN.

It really is a great set. But even after ordering and receiving, actually placing all these new stickers on Trypticon was a pretty difficult decision to make, as you can imagine. Had to convince myself that Trypticon was going to need Reprolabels anyhow, that Reprolabels are not permanent, that I am not going to sell him and that the official stickers are, well, original, but also plain sucky.
It also helped that I have experience in using the Reprolabels Metroplex upgrade set on a very slightly yellowing Metroplex, and those also proved to be ace (although Metroplex is hardly as expensive as Trypticon, and I also own an Encore Metroplex which has the official sticker set).
Seeing Trypticon with the Reprolabels upgrade is however an awesome sight, and I really should do some more pictures with decent lighting, to properly show how good he looks.

That Jazz looks perfect! What did you use to get the factory paint apps off? I used standard rubbing alcohol and it left behind a couple of blotches that looked like the color seeped into the plastic or something.

Same here. That plastic does NOT come clean.

I took a pocket knife and scored the plastic very, very lightly. The shavings were dyed blue. You can't even tell by looking at it that I basically sanded it down very, very slightly.
