Just a silly little idea that popped into my head, and this I won't care if it's shot down or not because it is quite silly.

A little system that sends an e-mail and/or pm advising you that you have battles ending in say 10 mins.

A generic message

"Dear Lemming,

Your HMW character YesBot is due to finish a battle in the next 10 minutes (link)
Your HMW character KissButtBot is due to finish a battle in the next 10 minutes (link)

You also have x other bots due to finish battles. We'll advise you of when they're due to finish within 10 minutes of finishing time."

Now of course it would have to be optional as not everyone would want these messages. In fact i'd be very suprised if it turned out to be popular and useful as most people more than likely know when to check back in on their bots if they're in a position to do so.

Could also make the time variable too if 10 mins is too long or too short for some.

Nice idea, but for the 'bots benefit, we'd better make it an 'end of CR time' reminder.

Must admit i wouldn't use it though, my mailbox gets full enough as it is.

Well there you go, you could also set it up to remind you when other things like the cr chamber is ending or a bot is getting out from the workshop with a set of new armour.

Can't just make the warning for the 'Bots. Travis would need it too.

I doubt I'd turn it on. If I was on the computer to see the e-mail, I'd be looking at HMW already.

Which is exactly why I call it a silly idea.

And who knows, if it's optional SOMEONE may find it useful. I really don't know who though.

something similiar i suggested a couple of years back; was the option that at the end of a timer(CR, mission, armour install, whatever) a sound effect would play

Those of us who mostly play 'on the sly' whilst at work would probably find use for it.

Come to think, of it a periodic mailshot might be a good idea considering how many changes this big bag of maths is about to go through over the next few weeks.

A reminder pm for every battle? For most players the mailboxes would be full in a pair days, and I wouldn't turn it on also.

But an automatic mail/pm system about your team's "evolution" (how many Xp/energon you got at the start of a week) would be VERY useful.

Perhaps a different take on the same idea... I get enough spammy spam in my email as it is, what about some sort of notice banner, similar in nature to the "breaking news thing" that indicates HMW activitiy when on other areas of the site? But a little more simplified than what is normally at the bottom of the screen in the HMW section.

It works for me as well, but I don't use it because it takes up too much space. Besides, I can just stick to registry page and know not just when my 'Bots are done with a mission, but also the CR or whether they're just being lazy.

Though I think Burn's idea is still rather interesting, especially with Overloaded's suggestion. :-?

Just thinking about the "evolution" thing.

I vaguely remember OS saying something about having more access to various statistics so it MAY not be necessary.

Perhaps one of those statistics could you allow you to enter a start and end date and it will generate all the necessary stats for you, that would of course be site based.

But a e-mail with the same stats could definitely be an option, especially for those who wouldn't have time to check their stats at work.

Win % since last reset would be handy,

And a Morale score based on your overall win %, team and minion.
Could be an interesting 'roleplay' tool as you reset and change tactics to raise it again...
