Isn't it a bit of a cop-out to name entire lines of toys as "worst" (Power Core Combiners) or poking at ancillary Transformers merchandice that is quite obviously not part of the main line of toys (RPMs/Speed Stars). You can put a bit more thought into it, I think. There are some legitimate gems among the Power Core Combiner figures, and of course "Hotwheels/Matchbox" Transfromers are going to be disappointing if you're looking for transforming robot action figures. Anyway...

Best new mold: Generations Drift, Don't care for the character, but the mold is excellent all around.

Worst new mold: PCC Double Clutch, Robot mode is too short and squat with a huge piece of car kibble on the back. The torso mode is poorly engineered, and nothing designed to snap into place actually does, leaving it a floppy, ugly mess.

Best repaint/remold: Generations Blurr, The original Drift mold was already great, but all the right changes were made to turn it into the best representation of Blurr...well...ever.

Worst repaint remold: HFTD Night Ops Ratchet, Ugly colors, period. Did we really need more of this 2007 mold?

Best figure overall: HFTD Battle Blades Bumblebeed, The BEST deluxe sized movie Bumblebee, period. It may even rival the HA Bumblebee mold.

Worst figure overall: Again, it's gotta be PCC Double Clutch.

It's not a cop out. We're entitled to voice our dissatisfaction of a line if we want to in an open forum. It's not an attack just an opinion.

Best Repaint/Remold: Thrust/Dirge
Worst Repaint/Remold: Oilpan. I loved Breakdown but the overly orange colour scheme on this just doesn't work for me. A homage like RID REV would have been nice.

Best New Mold: Hubcap or Pinpoint who should be called a Nebulan not a Mini-con.
Worst New Mold: Scourge. May not be out yet but it's terrible, especially the big black beard, terrible wings and horrible alt mode.

Best Overall Figure: Straxus or WFC Prime
Worst Figure: Any Drone or Legend. I'm sorry but I just don't like them.

Special shout out to Deluxe Movie Ratchet and Thunderwing.

I really agree here with the PCC comment. Luckily i had bought the rallybots...and the torso is terrible. So they are going to be forming menasor...mwahahahahaha

Well....It was truly a year of repaints and reissues so here goes...

the best new mold
Generations Jazz and Tracks, Straxus Bludgeon, Animated Arcee,
Shout out to Fansproject with their new Springer, Combaticons and IGear/Impossible Toys with admirable attempts at G1 Arcee.

worst new mold
Power Core combiners. Sorry but the whole line was just a cop out instead of doing Generations combiners and I haven't seen any gems in there to redeem it.

best repaint/remold
Too many!! 2010 Unicron, Dark Skyfire, TFCC Punch/Counterpunch, Generations Dirge or Solar Storm Grapple.

worst repaint remold
Generations Blurr by an absolute mile (great paint but ruined by that stupid head)
Pointless United repaints of Classics Bumblebee and Megatron (almost no difference to the originals + why didn't they do them gold and silver?)

Best Figure Overall
Masterpiece Grimlock. 5 stars, 10/10 a heavyweight champion of a figure, sorry, a KING of a figure.

Worst figure Overall
TFCC Dion. Appalling quality, so much kibble and super hard to transform.
And Challenge at Cybertron Galvatron.
All those stupid Bumblebee's. I love the character but please stop!!

Sorry, was I only supposed to pick one for each category? :P

Terrdive DOES come a close second, though...

And The Dude... WTHeck? How is Animated Rodimus Minor the worst mold, in a year where we got such remarkably horrible figs as Doubleclutch?

Best New Mold: WFC Megatron, Bludgeon, Leader Starscream, Hubcap, Highbrow (love the alt mode), and hard to admit Drift.
Worst New Mold: PCC 5 packs, I like a number of the 2 packs but the stupid drones kill the 5 packs for me. Oh and ROTF Lockdown.

Best Repaint/Remold: Dirge liked the Thrust but Dirge was always my favorite cone head. And MP Grimlock he would count right?
Worst Repaint/Remold: Generations Red Alert more for QC issues I had on all three after multiple returns.

Best Figure Overall: MP Grim…..wait no I just got 2010 Predaking in the mail hehe yep Predaking wins this for me, the TRUE KING.
Worst Figure Overall: Any Mudflap or Skids figures just so tired of seeing them everywhere I go.

First: I missed Doubleclutch.
Second: I don't hate all Power Core Combiners. None of them have been great, but the three I've bought have been pretty good.
Third: I just really don't like that toy. Robot mode is middling, but vehicle mode (and bricks-and-cheez-whiz colors in either mode) is crap, despite the tribute. With a windshield that won't stay down, a grill assembly that looks like a little kid painted it on, and a general inability to hold together, it's just a low point for TFA. And the weapon is ugly.

Wow, I don't like TFA Rodimus either, but for exactly the opposite causes: In my opinion, his car mode is cool, and rivals the classics, but the robot mode is proportionless, and has an ugly face.

Best New Mold: So many brilliant new moulds - Drift, Straxus, WFC Megs, Animated Rodimus - but I'm going to have to go with FansProject's Crossfire 02 Not-Bruticus. It took a horrible combiner set and turned it into my favourite combiner in my collection (though I have't opened Predaking yet).

Worst New Mold: Probably the PCCs.

Best Repaint/Remold: Generations Blurr. If Hasbro can keep doing awesome retools rather than just straight repaints, I will keep buying them.

Worst Repaint/Remold: I'm surprised no one has said Sunspot yet. Took an awesome mould and made it completely unappealing.

Best Overall Figure: Fansproject Crossfire 02.
Worst Figure: Not released this year, but I only got them this year - Impossible Toys Animated humans (Sari, Sumdac, Fanzone). Terrible quality. Terrible paint apps. Disappointing all round.

True, but I don't think the original poster was really intending this to be yet another thread to rant about Power Core Combiners.

Well stated.

the best new mold - 3 way tie: Drift,Terradive, & Battle Blades Bumblebee
Drift - Clever Construction. Great in both vehicle and Robot modes.
Terradive - One of the best jet modes in a while, coupled with a robot mode with neary G.I.Joe articulation.
B.B.Bumblebee - It's like they crammed H.A. detail into a delux class figure.

worst new mold - Double Clutch PCC set: I think some of the PCC figures are pretty good, but figures like thses are possibly some of the reason for the negative fan response. The car mode isn't bad, but everything else is dissapointing to me, even the drones. The quality of the figure is much less than I've been comming to expect.

best repaint/remold - Blurr: I knew this was a good repaint when I had to rush out and buy Blurr even though I already had the Drift mode. I don't usually buy both molds, but I had to make an exception this time.
worst repaint remold - Elita 1: I don't care for the Arcee sisters' toys. The black further takes away from the look of the mold. An absolute pass for me.

Best Figure Overall - Master Piece Grimlock: It's almost not fair that he's in the running. It's like letting Super man into a world's strongst man competetion. Arguably one of the best figures in arguably one of the best Transformers lines out there.

Worst figure Overall - Sea Attack Ravage: Once was more than enough
