Best Classics?

Postby PrimeSuspect » Sun Sep 02, 2007 1:37 am

Well then...

Now that Classics 1.0 is officially over... what's your favorite?

I'm not a Classics aficionado, persay, however, I do own 2, and out of those, Classics Jetfire is my favorite (I own 2, however, one has not arrived yet, so I'm judging based on the only one I've actually gotten my hands on :D).

What's yours'?

I would have to say Jetfire followed closely by Ramjet and Rodimus. Grimlock would be up there, but his hip articulation is quite horrible (poor guy cant stand) and the whole dino-head/leg thing is odd. I also heard starscream is good, but mine is still MOSC- unless I ever find another one.

Um, all of them?

Probably the Seekers, but being one of the lucky few who managed to get a full set elevates them in my eyes somewhat.

While I've got all of the Minicons and Legends I tend to lump them in with my Cybertron collection and the deluxe versions of Prime and Megs probably deserve less respect than the rest of the line, but for the most part it's win all the way. Roll on Universe.

Weapon: Null-Ray Rifle
Skyfire(I hate calling him Jetfire) is the best by far IMO.

Yeah, but you say Skyfire and the younger collectors just look at you. I found it funny that walmart.com had him posted with a decepticon logo and people were pointing out as it should be autobot- makes me wonder if it was a clever item listing or just a stupid mistake.

Well, he was a Decepticon.... for a little while.
Maybe an old-school TF fan did the wal-mart.com listing. :-?

I have to say Starscream. He is my favorite Transformer in the first place but his Classics figure is awesome. But it is a hard choice to make because all the Classics freakin' rock! I am a little disappointed with Jetfire's feet though. The G1 jet fire had the same style feet but they opened up farther and made him more stable. Classics Jetfire's feet should open up farther. IMO.

Btw, do they let us post pictures on these boards? If so I'll post my Classics collection for you guys.

I was never able to find the UM/Skywarp 2 pack or Soundwave. I passed on the Megs and Optimus 2 pack and never bought any of the small ones because I really didn't care for them.

I had to trade to get the classic soundwave and passed on the same things you did as well. Im sure somebody will trade you a classic soundwave for some of those.

Yeah, I love the voyager Megatron but the purple and green paint was killing me so, as you can see in my pic, I customised him. He looks much better now!
